We were here for 3 nights in May. I will list the pros and cons. Cons: Evening personel upon check in were not friendly at all. In fact quite condescending. Must say staff at front desk in the morning were a bit friendlier. Room size was small to average. Worn carpet. Balcony very small and could barely see the Dome... More

Stayed for a week with a group tour, very nice. Could see the dome of St Peter's from our window. Nice breakfast with many choices. More

I stayed here as part of a choir tour - the choir was singing at the Vatican and at St. Ignatius - and it was marvelous to walk out the front door and see the Vatican wall and the dome of St. Peter's. It's convenient to walk to Trastevere, to the Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona and Pantheon areas, and... More

This hotel is not bad...I was able to get a good rate using Expedia's flight and hotel and believe it was less than $80p/n. the breakfast was not that great! I don't like watery/runny scrambled eggs and thats unfortunately what was offered everyday in the buffet breakfast (included in price). They also had breads, sausages, ham and pastries available which... More

This hotel is located right around the corner from Vatican city and from the street (or depending which room you get) you have a view of St. Peters Basilica.. well part of it. Just a few min walk and you are at the Vatican. The hotel offers free wireless although only in 30 min intervalls and only in the lobby... More

After staying at the Starhotel in Naples we were not expecting much from this hotel, but it surprised us and was a pleasant stay overall due to its great location. We stayed at the Michelangelo for 4 nights, and I chose this hotel based on its mainly good reviews on tripadvisor and it's location to the Vatican. Before arrival I... More

If Vatican city was little bit bigger, this hotel would be part of Vatican city, that is how close this hotel is to St. Peter's Basilica. We could see St. Peter's Basilica from our window, and the view is so good, especially in the evening when the lights are on. When we went to visit vatican museum, we didn't need... More

We stayed at this hotel as a family and had to get two rooms. The quarters felt a little tight and are somewhat older. Smaller and older rooms are more typical when travelling in Europe, especially if you are used to larger American hotel rooms and suites. This location was great since we were visiting the Vatican. The breakfast was... More

On a business trip, I choose this hotel because of its location next to Vatican city. Location is amazing. Breakfast corresponds to the standards. Staff is nice. The room was relatively small but walls were dirty and the paint needed to be refreshed. May be a good choice is your priority is the location and the silence. Not so good... More
