We booked this hotel for a weekend trip, and it turned out to be very disappointing. The hotel said that the rooms are sound proof, however you can hear a pin drop in the next room. Furthermore, the air-condition was non existing and this was in July with almost 40 degrees outside. We made the staff aware of this already... More

We really enjoyed our staying in this great hotel. Everything was perfect. The location is very good, it's very close to Piazza Navona and not far from Vatican. Especially I would like to admit excellent service. Staff of hotel was so friendly and helpful. We had clean towels and bedding everyday. Breakfast is good, cappuccino was one of the best... More

My wife and I stayed here on a recent city break the location of the accommodation was spot on right on the ponte st angelo five minute walk to piazza navona and about 10 mins leisurely walk to the Vatican. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated but small and the windows are at street level, the walls are thin... More

The pictures make the rooms look larger than they are but not really, I expected a really large 'family' room for my wife and I, and 2 kids, but it was more than adequate. The room was clean and was right across from Castle St. Angelo as the pictures show. I might consider their place in Piazza Navona because it... More

This place was terrible. It is NOTHING like pictured on the internet. I always check under the sheets and the mattress overlay was repulsively stained so much so that I had to remove it, turn the mattress over and go from there. The shower door was loose and the noise from the street terrible. When you looked out the window... More

The location is great, the rooms are not that bad (except for no light in the shower). The noise was very acceptable, the size was quite large. I did not like a lack of staff, so if you are looking for a traditional accomodations stay elsewhere, but I would reccomend the place...it's location really can't be beat for walking Rome... More

Right on the river across the Sant Angelo bridge. Clean comfortable accomodation with friendly staff - no reception with only the cleaners to welcome you though. Very good security as there is no reception with different codes to open the outer and inner door and keys to open your room. Rooms are below street level which can be a bother... More

Positives: 10 min walk right into Piazza Navona (based on a leisurely stroll, not a sprint!), this saved us a fortune on taxis. Rooms are a decent size - we stayed in a twin - doubles and up would be bigger I guess. Bathroom was freshly decorated (nice travertine tiling) and a pleaure to use - no mouldy shower curtains... This hotel has definitely not disappoint me. In fact, it has given us a very pleasant experience.Highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean, large and air-conditioning. Location is awesome, especially if you value Piazza Navona and Vatican (which we did). Maybe a 10 minute walk to St. Peter's. Domizia Sancti Angeli is definitely a great place to stay!

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
