The hotel is nice, clean, and the staff is super nice. The location is terrific, right in the center of Rome, we were close to all the important monuments. However, there are some things that we did not like: Wifi was minimum speed, enough for email but nothing else. Breakfast is ok if you like sweet food, if not it... More

Got a two person room and it was really really small. There was a gigantic, high step in the bathroom to get to the toilet from the sink which could be pretty dangerous (for children and elderly). The view was nice and the hotel was situation in the middle of ancient Roman historical sites, which was extremely convenient. However, the... More

The location in 'Ancient Rome' was excellent and it was an easy walk to many of the most interesting sights. The reception staff were particularly pleasant and welcoming. However the hotel is located on a very busy street and the traffic noise is almost continuous throughout the night, disturbing sleep. It may be possible to request a room at the... More

We booked this hotel while we were in Rome, as the hotel we were staying in was dreadful (review to follow). Anyway, we've stayed here twice or three times. Its reasonably priced (for Rome) but it has the benefit of being right in the middle of everything. You only need public transport if you don't like walking or cannot physically... More

We stayed at Hotel Traiano for a weekend and really enjoyed it. An elegant hotel, our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. An especially nice touch was the drinks and nibbles brought to our room as a welcome gesture soon after we arrived. The delicious breakfast was served in the amazing dining room with its fabulous ceiling. The receptionists... More

We were setting off on a cruise the following day. A little far to walk from the train station with luggage but we couldn't find a taxi! We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by a friendly receptionist. The hotel struck me as very organised. They upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost which was nice. The room... More

I was offered this hotel as a substitute as the hotel I initially booked was overbooked. I was offered this place. Since it was quite late I had ti take it. I would say it is awfull. It heavily needs repairs and cleaning. I suggest to avoid it. The staff is very rude. Then a visitor came to see me... More

Very good location close to Venice Square, friendly staff, rooms are quite and small which is very typical for the old city places. Good for short stays as you spend no extra time for traffic. Service is good. Wireless works fine in case you need it

Overall acceptable. Stayed here one night before a cruise. Springs on bed worn down, didn't sleep well. Light in one room didn't work, everything else worked. Room was clean and unusually large for a European hotel. Breakfast was good. Price OK.

2 guys told me at the reception that "taxi" was the only way to go back to the airport early morning at 5am. The taxi price was 65 euros according to the hotel... I found 3 bus Cie living Termini station (5mn from the hotel) starting 4h30 every morning. The price was 4 euros in a very comfortable conditions. Furthermore,... More
