Fantastic location, we were able to walk to the main sites. It's on a main road so our room was noisy but if you ask for a room without a view, at the back, noise shouldn't be a problem. A lovely hotel, great breakfast and friendly staff. Only problem was we had room 107 overlooking the road so sleep was interrupted by traffic noise. Apart from that the hotel is perfectly placed for walking to all the sites. Perfectly happy and would definitely book again although I'd ask for a room at the back.

The staff actually remembered us from 2 years before and we were welcomed like old friends. Although a little old fashioned the rooms are clean and the hotel is very central. It is within easy walking distance of historical attractions and is near to some very good affordable eating places and Cafes.

I have read some previous reviews and realized that the hotel has Improved on a lot of things pointed Out by previous occupants. Location The location was the main positive of this hotel. The Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum are both a short walk away, and Vatican City is about a 40 minute walk away. Rooms The rooms and facilities were clean, but dated, and the hotel is on a main road, so traffic can be heard at all hours in lower-level rooms.... More

Hotel very well located but definitely not a 4-star ! The rooms are average with tiny bathrooms and the breakfast is only OK. Service however is very good with very friendly staff always smiling and willing to help and giving useful information.

Great location, very clean, staff very helpfull, breakfast satisfying better food quality would be nice. Overall very pleased. I would return to this hotel if I wanted anothet historical visit to Roma.

Location superb: access to ancient Rome, Central and Monti areas within minutes walking. The staff is established and was throughout courteous, cheerful and could not do enough for us. This was the 3rd time my fried and myself stayed in this hotel on photographic trips to Rome. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk to sight like the Colosseum, The Trevi Fountain, Pantheon etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and last, but not least, it`s excellend value for money.
