A very comfortable, clean room in a very classic hotel in an extremely excellent location. The Forum, the Coliseum, the Musem dei Fori Imperiali, the Mercati Traiano, all within easy walking distance. Nice selections for breakfast included in the morning, and many excellent restaurants close by. Highly recommended.

We found ourselves in Rome unexpectedly and were lucky to find the Hotel Traiano. We received a very warm reception and had a spacious and comfortable room. The hotel is really delightful and is well located for the Forum and Coliseum. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and friendly. A really good place to stay.

Hotel great value and an excellent location! Not far from the bus station and metro.. taxi to the airport will cost around 35 euro so whilst its cheaper to get a bus and walk to and from the station, it will take you at least 20 mins. Room was perfect, spacious and very clean.. cleaner was lovely and polite! Friendly... More

You pay for the location, it really is in a great spot. Our room was not too bad, good size room but small bathroom (nothing out of the ordinary for Europe though). We also had a small side room which gave us extra room to keep our luggage. Tv didn't work. Breakfast was average but would stay there again.

I looked for ages online for a fairly decent hotel that was close to all the sights. This place is in the perfect location for all that!! The roman forum is just a couple minutes walk away, colluseum - 10 mins and Trevi fountain less than 10 minutes. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean every day. The shower... More

A ten minute walk from the Colosseum - sold. This hotel is in a great location and has some really nice bars/restaurants around it as well. The staff is fantastic, extremely friendly and offers recommendations as well. We were really freaked out about giving them our key each time we left but it turns out this is common practice in... The hotel is nice, clean, and the staff is super nice. The location is terrific, right in the center of Rome, we were close to all the important monuments. However, there are some things that we did not like: Wifi was minimum speed, enough for email but nothing else. Breakfast is ok if you like sweet food, if not it... More

Got a two person room and it was really really small. There was a gigantic, high step in the bathroom to get to the toilet from the sink which could be pretty dangerous (for children and elderly). The view was nice and the hotel was situation in the middle of ancient Roman historical sites, which was extremely convenient. However, the... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
