We stayed here during August 2014 for our 1st wedding anniversary. Overall the hotel could do with some updating and just a lick of paint. Hotel is situated within excellent distance of The Vatican and about a €9 taxi ride to the colosseum. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - booking a table at a restaurant for us as my... More

Nice hotel within 5 min walk of Vatican. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good and plenty to choose from. We had dinner in hotel on 1 night which was ok. Our room was small although it was clean. Short walk to Metro allowed us to explore other parts of the city. Hotel staff helped with directions.

Found cockroach floating in my drink one morning in the bedroom, the air conditioning didn't work so had to have fan going all night , television only had one channel( CNN ). The fridge worked sporadically Noise levels were high from groups of students banging loudly on each other's doors and shouting in corridors sometimes up till 3am. Was NOT... More

We stayed for four nights here. Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience overall. On the (substantial) down side, rooms were dark and dated and walls in need of paint. Every time we used the shower it flooded the floor. WiFi temperamental. Every time you try to connect, it redirects you to the sign in page called the 'Bobby System', which... More

We wanted nice place located not far from the centre, the location of hotels os ok - 5 minues from Vatican, but far from metro (10-15 min) and from P-za Spagna. The room was not so big. 112 sq.m. Breakfast was rather good, I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very helpful, cleaning also fine. I recommend this hotel.

We have just come back from 3 days at the hotel. We too thought the air con did not work, but there is a knack, the switch on wall has to be on 10c, then switch on, with button below switched to the right, this gave not overwhelming coldness but adequate coolness. The hotel itself is 5 mins from the... More

We stayed in this hotel in April. It was the week after Easter but before the Canonisation so the city was very busy. That said, I booked the hotel in December so was very surprised when we arrived to be told that there was a "problem" with our room and they needed a "little favour" and so booked us out... More

This hotel is absolutely horrible. We arrived in Rome on a 85F day to find that this hotel had no air condition. After complaining, we were told that it would be turned on, but was never once turned on during our two night stay. After touring the city of Rome a little, I decided to shower, only to realize that... More

We stayed here for three nights on our trip through Europe and had a fantastic stay. It isn't the flashest of hotels, but we didn't care. The rooms were a reasonable size, the cost was economical, the staff were friendly, and whilst it was not right in the heart of Rome, it was within easy walking distance to the train... More

I'm tempted to give the property the lowest rating because of the service, but that's not fair. The property is a two-star place. They can say they're four-star because of the Italian government's rating system (which includes things like distance from room to the lobby, but does not take into account , but in no way is this a four-star...
