We stayed for four nights here. Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience overall. On the (substantial) down side, rooms were dark and dated and walls in need of paint. Every time we used the shower it flooded the floor. WiFi temperamental. Every time you try to connect, it redirects you to the sign in page called the 'Bobby System', which... More

We wanted nice place located not far from the centre, the location of hotels os ok - 5 minues from Vatican, but far from metro (10-15 min) and from P-za Spagna. The room was not so big. 112 sq.m. Breakfast was rather good, I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very helpful, cleaning also fine. I recommend this hotel.

We have just come back from 3 days at the hotel. We too thought the air con did not work, but there is a knack, the switch on wall has to be on 10c, then switch on, with button below switched to the right, this gave not overwhelming coldness but adequate coolness. The hotel itself is 5 mins from the... More

We stayed in this hotel in April. It was the week after Easter but before the Canonisation so the city was very busy. That said, I booked the hotel in December so was very surprised when we arrived to be told that there was a "problem" with our room and they needed a "little favour" and so booked us out... More

This hotel is absolutely horrible. We arrived in Rome on a 85F day to find that this hotel had no air condition. After complaining, we were told that it would be turned on, but was never once turned on during our two night stay. After touring the city of Rome a little, I decided to shower, only to realize that... More

We stayed here for three nights on our trip through Europe and had a fantastic stay. It isn't the flashest of hotels, but we didn't care. The rooms were a reasonable size, the cost was economical, the staff were friendly, and whilst it was not right in the heart of Rome, it was within easy walking distance to the train... More

I'm tempted to give the property the lowest rating because of the service, but that's not fair. The property is a two-star place. They can say they're four-star because of the Italian government's rating system (which includes things like distance from room to the lobby, but does not take into account , but in no way is this a four-star... As you may have read previously the hotel is a little old fashioned. I let this pass as the location is perfect!! You are so close to the Metro and Vatican city and there is an AMAZING Japanese restaurant right outside the main door. (literally) Okay so the rooms are old and the breakfast a little cosi cosi, but as... More

This poor, old lady needs not only a face lift but a whole body re-make. It is obvious that she has seen much better days. The layout is very well thought out; but well past its time. It needs a good renovation. We were on the 2nd floor. The air conditioning was broken; and you needed to run all the... More

Stayed in the hotel twice already. Great location,20 minutes walk to the Vatican. Rooms were kept very clean, one floor was being renovated during our stay. Very friendly staff (reception and dining area) and great breakfast buffet. Iwona and Jerry from Toronto
