Although not worthy of 4 stars, the hotel is quite close to a metro station (10 minutes walk), quite good neighbourhood. Very friendly staff, excelent breakfast. The room looked kind of old, but functional (except the broken tv :)

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights it was a friends birthday just the two of us and returned home yesterday, boy was I glad to get home. It was like a 1/2 star hotel and was disgustingly filthy everything was so dated I did not want to stay at all, I asked to be moved and was refused at... More

At first it seemed that being away from the busy city centre would be a positive thing to avoid the noisy atmosphere but after days of walking an excess of 25 minutes and in scorching heat to the nearest landmark it became a repetitive nightmare. Most of the rooms amenities didn't work too well and the television seemed to have... More

Good location for Vatican (30 mins walk) and Metro station (15 mins). Hotel is clean a little up dating reqd. TV rubbish 1 station but we didn't come to Rome to watch TV, hair dryer waste of time..no kettle. Breakfast ok you can find something to eat and 'take away' for your flight home haha ! Didn't have a problem... More

Was worried having booked a stay here and reading reviews. I found it fine. Room and decor a little tired but it was clean. Yes TV has few channels and old TV but I didn't come to Rome to watch the TV. Noise, well you are in a city. Convenient for metro and Vatican to see the Holy Father. Staff... More

It's half an hour walk from Otterviano station. Otherwise, hotel though a little dated is fair, staff mostly polite except one, however, the kitchen and dining staff were exceptional. They were very polite and accommodated us when our tour ended late and we were late for dinner. The staff were still polite and made us feel welcome while serving us... More

Very small room, dirty carpet and walls, very old TV with no more than 6 channels. Wifi was very weak. Breakfast restaurant was crowded (on public holiday), it was impossible to find a tidy table. The only positive thing was a helpful receptionist. Do not go there!

We did Nova Domus some years back and it was not really good, but given the somewhat central placement and fair accommodation, we did not provide a too poor judgement. Situation has changed, Nova Domus has not improved and up till now, be completely honest, it is so much worse, that we will no longer call it an OK place... More

Although central, it was a terrible experience. Old style hotel, old furniture, A TV set super-outdated with no conncection, very small rooms and unefficient, unprofessional, unpleasant and obnoxious staff. Maybe in Italy it is a four-star hotel, but to us looked more a two-star hotel (but just!!). Definetely NOT recommended (especially for the price)!!

near to vatican (still about 20 mts by walk). rooms average. Charger provided was not working. but staff was kind enough to charge at front desk. Hotel does not respond to mails sent earlier and did not book rooms in refurbished section. on arrival, when i asked for this, reply was rude and was told why did you select this... More
