The location was good and the front desk staff real nice! The room was dark and the colors you see from hotel website work but only if they are consistently cleaned and working. One of the blinds in our room was broken and there lambs that were there but not enough outlets to use them. The shower was nice but... More

My partner and I had a pleasant modern styled first floor room not too far from the main entrance and garden. Having used this hotel two years ago whilst in Rome we had the confidence to return, next time in Rome I hope to do the same again. The hotel is located in an excellent location not too far from... We had no problem finding the hotel even though there is no big sign out the front. Plan ahead and check the photos of the hotel on trip advisor that show its location but bear in mind the reception has been moved to a side street a few doors down to the left of the hotel. This hotel is in... More

Me and my girlfriend visited this hotel in February for 4 days/ nights to explore rome, when we got dropped off to the hotel my first impressions was not good its looked like a block of old apartments from the outside with builders working outside but its another story as you walk in it is very modern and clean hotel... A 5-star hotel on Berlin’s Bebelplatz Square, walking distance to Unter den Linden Blvd and other historical sites. The amazing roof top bar is a great way to end a long day or unwind with a late night cocktail. The staff and concierge go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Very small hotel and room, in fact the smallest I've ever stayed in, some odd quirks but had everything we needed, aircon worked very well and room was at the back of the garden area so very quiet. brilliant position minutes from the forum and colloseum and surrounded by bars etc, which was good because the hotel itself doesn't have... If you are looking for a central hotel in Rome, this one is perfect. It is literally round the corner from the colosseum and walking distance to everything else! Hotel was clean, modern, air conditioning worked fine, free wifi and lovely restaurants surrounding it. Receptionist sarah checked us in and was so helpful. Gave us a map and pointed out... More

The hotel is in a great location you can check in anytime as our flight was very late, alot of sights walking distance and restaurants are literally in the door step. The breakfast was really nice but the WiFi smh it was the source of great dismay, it didn't quite reach the room sometimes it worked most times it didn't.... More

I have stayed in this location before as Hotel Richmond. Hotel de Rome is a separate entity, but shares lobby facilities. This is a nice location for everything in Rome. Within a block of the coliseum, across the street from the Via Sacra, and close to the Piazza Venezia. There are several really good restaurants in the immediate locale You... More

The 4 star rating that Hotel de Rome boasts is a joke. During my three day stay the refrigerator did not work, the free internet worked sometimes, the TV did not have any English speaking channels, no air conditioning (to be turned on layer in the summer - maybe) and the room was extremely small. The only good things I... More

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
