Stayed for 2 nights for the missus and I anniversary. Step outside, turn left and you can see the Coloseum... Clean, friendly and would stay again. Ended up proposing to the missus too, she has been reserved ;) .

We walked out the train station and saw the coliseum ruin and the surrounding ruins. we walked all day but had no clue where we will be staying that night. We came across with this hotel because we were looking for a restaurant. The guy who worked at the desk was helpful and friendly. Walk in cost 136euro because we... More

My wife is pregnant and did'n not feel that well, so I asked the recepcionist a complimentary late check out for a couple of hours and they charged it it me, regardless if arrive late the night before and the room lights did not work. The location is good but the staff, at least Sara at the reception in the... More

My mother and I stayed at Hotel de Rome for 3 days on beginning of June. We had a wonderful room, quiet, on the back side of the hotel, with a veranda (which is something, we, as Greeks appreciated and need a lot, as we are used on having verandas everywhere), overlooking a cozy outside corner, with some tables and... This hotel has the perfect location. If I was to point on a map as to where I'd want to see in relation to everything to see in Rome....this would be it. We traveled with lots of family, and somehow we always ended up at our hotel...whether it was to eat, or to meet up with. The pop in the... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was small, but very nice, had wi-fi, hairdryer, was clean. Very good breakfast. The Staff was friendly, helped us to find great place to eat. The location is great. We visited almost everyting by walking. Colloseum is just around the corner.

Used this hotel for a 3 day break in May. Small hotel located about 10 min walk from the Collosseum. You can actually see the Collosseum when you come out the hotel and turn left on the next street. We had a double bed room, small with toilet and shower. Small window opening out to the front on the first... More

We went as a group of 3 couples for 4 nights in late May; this hotel is right by the Coliseum and within walking distance to many other sites, with several restaurants on the doorstep and the best one accross the road, also cafes & ice cream parlours. Our large room gave onto the inner courtyard and was quiet; it... More

The hotels in Rome can be very expensive so to get a huge and spacious hotel room down the street from the Coliseum for under $200 a night is a great deal. Let's start with the positives. Our room was massive. Not only was our room spacious, but we had an additional suite attached to our room with a pull-out... More

The rooms are small but well organized and the cleaning is without remarks. The view from our room overlooking the Forum was to die for. Breakfast was ok, no more no less. But the location could not be better! Shoppingstreets, restaurants and and historical sights was within walkingdistance from the hotel. Also, the service provided from the staff was perfect.
