Fabulous place. Best choice of restaurants right in front of the hotel. Weather was spectacular for November. Showers left a little to be desired. Room was clean. Loved breakfast on the roof terrace! We visited Villa D'este up in Tivolli. Can highly recommend a day trip out of the city.....

This was our second visit to Rome & basically this trip was on a budget so as far as value for money goes it was great. Positives: met with a big smile from receptionist and was a good welcome. Location is perfect v close to everything & was a great buzz about the street. Breakfast was ok. Negatives - the... More

Stayed here before and can't fault this hotel ideally situated for the coliseum etc, there were some disruptions to normal service due to renovations which can only improve this already very good hotel. We would stay here again some great restaurants near by including a Chinese and Indian.

My Husband and I stayed here in May 2015 for 4 nights. Our room was on the ground floor in a little court yard area. The room was quite small and could have done with a coat of paint, the walls were white and so showed all the scuff marks from people moving luggage in and out. But otherwise was... More

I stayed in Hotel de Rome for a few days while traveling around Italy. My room was very reasonably priced, clean and modern. It was all I needed for a quick stop and the location was perfect. It is on a street with many restaurants and just across from ancient ruins and around the corner from the Colosseum. I can't... More

Firstly we arrived half a hour early and our room was ready although they upgraded our stay for no extra cost and gave us a two floor suite with a upstairs bath with TV our shower leaked but was no issue as we were assured it was a fault with all rooms but was no problem really. Rooms were spotless... More

I stayed at the Hotel de Rome for 4 nights with my boyfriend. I really enjoyed my time, the room was good value for money considering how great the location was and was great that the price included breakfast and wifi. However, my one complaint that i'm surprised hasn't been brought up before is the shower. We stayed in one... More
