Bloody brilliant. I know very Australian but come on... the colosseum around the corner and two beautiful restaurants right out the front of the hotel. Pretty good i say. The room was nice and clean but not sure if its four star as it was pretty basic in comparison to all the other four star hotels we stayed at during... More

the location alone is enough to wow you. just 5 min from the colosseum and a 15 min walk from trevi fountain and pantheon . not to forget that it is a walkable distance from termini station . If you are a serious walking enthusiast and good with maps then you can save a lot of money by avoiding the... More

Fantastic place. The hotel was comfortable and clean. We had a room with a terrace that was just amazing. Staff was super helpful. The location is great. It is 5 minutes from the Colosseum. Very close to the metro station. By metro, it takes 9 mins to get to Rome Termini. Breakfast was descent. Just FYI , the sign on... More

We landed in this hotel as part of our vacation package and stayed on two occasions. To our surprise the location is fantastic being 3-4 min walk to the key attractions like the Colosseum and similar proximity to Cavour metro station. The location is very ideal if you like to walk and discover a city. Literally just turn the first... More

Hotel De Rome was listed as a 4star, but I'd say 3star+ with a fantastic location on the side of the Forum, 5 mins walk to the Colosseum, so great location. Hotel had has a nice bright modern feel to it, lots of nice design details, but some of the functionality needed some work (bathroom basin taps look great, but... More

Stayed for 2 nights for the missus and I anniversary. Step outside, turn left and you can see the Coloseum... Clean, friendly and would stay again. Ended up proposing to the missus too, she has been reserved ;) .

We walked out the train station and saw the coliseum ruin and the surrounding ruins. we walked all day but had no clue where we will be staying that night. We came across with this hotel because we were looking for a restaurant. The guy who worked at the desk was helpful and friendly. Walk in cost 136euro because we... More

My wife is pregnant and did'n not feel that well, so I asked the recepcionist a complimentary late check out for a couple of hours and they charged it it me, regardless if arrive late the night before and the room lights did not work. The location is good but the staff, at least Sara at the reception in the... More

My mother and I stayed at Hotel de Rome for 3 days on beginning of June. We had a wonderful room, quiet, on the back side of the hotel, with a veranda (which is something, we, as Greeks appreciated and need a lot, as we are used on having verandas everywhere), overlooking a cozy outside corner, with some tables and... This hotel has the perfect location. If I was to point on a map as to where I'd want to see in relation to everything to see in Rome....this would be it. We traveled with lots of family, and somehow we always ended up at our hotel...whether it was to eat, or to meet up with. The pop in the... More
