We stayed for three nights with a young baby. Isabella was wonderfull and took good care of us. The location was fantastic, only a couple minutes walk to the Marconi Metro station. The appartment was big enough, clean, warm and cosy. The bathroom was nice and had everything we need. Would recommend to anyone.

Conveniently close to a Metro stop so only minutes from the center of things it's in a quiet residential neighborhood of apartment towers, behind a gate and in a garden. The proprietor, Isabella is a charming, helpful woman who speaks English and provides a big breakfast.

Like everyone else, I found saying at Il Giardino to be a real pleasure. It's like having a private apartment in a quiet neighborhood of Rome, yet just a few minutes walk from the Metro, with easy access everywhere. Owner Isabella is a delight - accommodating, gay-friendly, and fluent in English. (We left a hat behind when we left, and... More

We stayed for 1 week in September and would strongly recommend this B&B as very good value for money. Even before we arrived, Isabella answered our emails very promptly and looked after us very well throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with Free WiFi and newspapers, guide books and maps and a garden area. Although not... More

Il Giardino Casamari is a very nice place to stay in Rome. It's located in a residential area near the Marconi subway station. I spent almost two weeks there in October during my visit to Roma Tre University. The place is run by Isabella, who is very nice, friendly and always willing to help. I felt entirely at home there.... More

We are happy to have received nice words regarding our B&B not only for the structure and services but also for our courtesy and availability we can certainly say we are a "mission". Our guest came for work and stayed a relative long period in our B&B far from his family. We tried to make his stay comfortable to contribute... More

Il Giardino di Casamari is very clean, bright, comfortable, well-maintained, well-equipped (with everything from DVDs and good wireless to umbrellas) safe and convenient, for both tourism and work. It lies in a quiet suburb which is, nevertheless, only two minutes walk from the Marconi station of Rome’s very reliable and cheap metro service (so a total of 15 minutes easy... More

We are very happy to have received once again so nice comments regarding our B&B not only for the structure and services but also for our courtesy and availability we can certainly say we are a "mission". Obviously not all people recognize and notice the details that we believe make us a special play to stay and Jan and Barbara... More

It was a coincidence I booked a room at the Il Giardino Casamari B&B as I was looking for a place to stay close to Roma Tre University….and it was a really lucky coincidence! :-) It started really great as Isabella, the owner of the place, picked me up from the airport and saved me from fighting my way to... Il Giardino Casamari was a welcome retreat easily accessible to the heart of Rome. Isabella greeted us at the airport, saving us the hassle of negotiating a train or taxi. Throughout our 4 night stay, she was a fabulous hostess. She made sure that breakfast suited our schedule and tastes, that we had everything we needed, including a SIM/mobile phone... More

What was a bit of a last minute choice because of a friend being unable to host me turned out to be a blessing, and arguably the best B&B experience I've ever had. Just a three minutes walk from Marconi metro station, it manages at the same time to be removed from all the noise of that area, surrounded as... More

This is a private residence that the owner is renting out. Very nice and quiet place, just minutes of walking from the Marconi train station in Rome, close to the University Rome III (where I was visiting) and not so far from downtown. The owner, Ms. Isabella, is extremely friendly. Everything worked perfectly. She provided a fridge full of food.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The location of our B&B is considered strategic because the B & B is located in a building away from the main street Viale Marconi, being in Via Casamari set back from the street even further and at the same time it doesn't take more than a 2 minute walking to the subway station: nice convenience, doesn't it?! From a logistical point of view the B & B is easily accessible whether you travel by train or if you arrive by plane or by car. Not far from the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, Universita 'Roma Tre, and the Palalottomatica, New Congress Center Nuvola in Eur district our B& B is very well connected via public transportation to the most interesting sites to go and see: Pyramid, Colosseum, Trastevere, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Baths of Caracalla, Ostia Antica...... Also changing line metro (A) at Termini Station, you can reach the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, the Basilica of St. Peter in 10 minutes. The B & B is functionally separated from the owner house area in order to give maximum freedom and privacy to our guests. The rooms are spacious, bright, warm in winter and cool in summer, very quiet and comfortable: special attention has been paid to the choice of beds and mattresses to ensure you best rest and sleeping. The decor is complete and cured, but at the same time ... very warm and light. Each room has its own private bathroom en suite. When you arrive you'll receive a welcome basket with fruit, chocolates, sweets, all for the bathroom: soap, shower gel and shampoo, wipes, wet wipes, razors and shaving cream. In the room you will also provide you with mineral water for the duration of your stay. The angle of tea in the dining room which is reserved to guests: where you can have a good tea or an Italian coffee, prepare tasty popcorn, read, watch a DVD or listen to a CD. We have a small library of books, CDs and movies available. The garden surrounding the house is a real surprise if you think of being in Rome: enjoyable in the summer it offers a nice view in the morning from each of the rooms available. ... more   less
