I got charged twice for the booking and when I asked the owner to reimburse the extra payment, he told me that I was confused and I had to somehow take care of it myself. The staff and the owner are very rude and not professional at all. Please DO NOT stay here!

The hotel is in small distance from Metro "Vittorio Emanuele" and 10 minutes walking form Termini. It is strange at night because it is dark and you should choose roads with lights. There are good places to have breakfast around, or grab a cup of cappuccino. The prices are reasonable! The beds were comfortable, the toilet was spacious and the water... More

Not happy with this place. The local area is dirty, covered in graffiti and home to some obviously crazy locals (the variety who spend 8-10 hours a day yelling gibberish at people in the street.) The bed was the most uncomfortable I can ever remember sleeping on, and the pillow may as well have been made of wood. In the... More

If you're expecting a breakfast with your bed, you will not receive one here. I don't know how a place can call itself a B&B and only provide one of the Bs! We were prepared for this possibility after reading some reviews, but there was a French couple also staying at the Casa di Mei who were really shocked and... More

Me and my mum stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel was welcoming, the staff where very friendly and gave us maps and tips for sightseeing on arrival. Our room was bigger than I thought it would be and it was spotless. It was cleaned every day. For the price we paid we where very... More

We spent 3 nights at this location in October, 2014. It is close to the main railroad station and major bus lines. There are several excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. The price is far below area hotels. The neighborhood is very diverse and travelers should be aware of this if they are bothered by such.

We stumbled upon this hotel after reading the good reviews here. I must say...they are all true. The location was the key for us. Walking distance from Termini Station. It may not be the prettiest part of Rome, but walking distance from Termini, Hop on Hop off bus stop and a few decent restaurants make it a good choice. The... More

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and were shown into a shoebox of a room, this was not the main issue, the main issue is that when paying the man short changed us by 50 euro, which we only realised at the station as he almost made us miss our train when he said we needed to pay... More

We stayed here for one night before we flew home. It is situated on a main street but our room was at the back so it was very quiet. The room we had been allocated was massive and contained a double bed and a single bed. The ensuite shower room was modern and very clean. The room had an air... More

Like every year I'm back in Rome and in the same B&B this time with my best friend for the tattoo convention! Everything still very clean and I found many changes in the room as the 32-inch tv and fantastic painting on the walls! What else folks I hope everyone enjoy this place like us!!! See youuuu

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
