Dreaming Rome Hostel is really a lovely place to stay. You feel welcome instantly. The Hostel is very social but not a party Hostel. You meet in the evening in the kitchen for the pasta party, where you can make plans for the night and everyone goes out together. When I was there, there were mainly solo travelers, most of... This place is literally like a little dream. It technically shouldn't even exist. It's so much fun and so quaint and friendly and the people so genuine you'd almost expect spoilers to come in at any moment and ruin it. The two brothers who run the place are hilarious, especially Fabio, in a really inclusive, non 'alpha male' style way,... More

Dreaming Rome was everything I could have wanted in a hostel, and it's all thanks to Fabio and Domenico. The hostel is cozy and community based, meaning that even solo travellers feel very comfortable and welcome. The atmosphere is so comforting and inclusive, and when Fabio makes dinner for you (which is pretty much EVERY NIGHT), you get a chance... More

I booked The Dreaming Rome Hostel way back in March for a weekend away as I had read it was a good atmosphere for travelling, especially when you are on your own. This place is a gem!!! When it comes to meeting new people and having a great time this is the hostel you want to be in!! Fabio greeted... More

If you are a solo traveler looking for a clean, friendly, and affordable hostel in Rome, then you have hit the jackpot with the Dreaming Rome Hostel! First of all, the hostel is a 5 minute walk from a metro stop and 20-25 minute walk from the Colosseum! Free and fast Wi-Fi. The host, Fabio, is fantastic! Free breakfast and... More

I stayed in the large dorm here for a few nights and enjoyed it. The brothers who run this place are awesome; super friendly and very willing to help with anything. The hostel itself is well maintained and has a good atmosphere. They provide free breakfast and dinner and the wifi is quite fast. The location is good too as... More

Book Now!! I stayed 4 nights in the 6 bed female dorm in late April. It was my first time travelling solo and it couldn't have been better. I always felt very safe, even walking back at night. The hosts were very welcoming and kind. Breakfast and WIFI is free of charge and they even provide a couple of Mac... More

As a solo traveller who had never been to Europe before, staying in Dreaming Rome was one of the highlights of my whole trip. Fabio and Domenico make every effort to create the ideal accommodation. This means being welcomed to a super clean apartment, having computer/internet access, and also being hosted by best local advisers to help you book tours,... More

I've lived in Rome for a few months back to 2008/09 and went back there in 2013 and 2014. I'm pretty sure that this is the best hostel in the city. The guys are realy friendly and take such a good care of the place. I was trevelling by my own and had the best time making some friends there.... More

I stayed at Dreaming Rome Hostel for two nights. I had a lovely greeting when I arrived and had a comfortable stay. Plenty of hot water and I even came home to a chocolate on my pillow the last night. Breakfast is included but contrary to many reviews, dinner is not. From what I understand, there are dinners provided sometimes... More
