Very close to Termini (2 min), close to colosseum (20 min), safe and clean enough. But the room was very small, we asked for 2 single beds, they gave us one double. We send an email before our arrival and we never got an answer. The water in the bathroom had not a good pressure and we couldn't have a... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Stayed for 4 nights in September 2012. Good check in (once we got over the confusion of checking in over the road) Very convenient location near the station but far enough to feel away from the less desirable station area. I travelled with a group of 4 girls and felt safe and secure enough. Breakfast was not great but the... More

I stayed for 2 nights in march 2012, it was brilliant. On arrival it is a bit confusing with the address but there are a set of buzzers on number 45 if you press buzzer for hotel some one comes and meets you. The B&B is clean and nice, the rooms are big spacious and clean most have a balcony,... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
