I had a great time in Soggiorno last week when I stayed 5 nights. There is good position regarding restaurants and attractions. You have to walk 4 blocks to get to Termini! And above all, the breakfast is super tasty. I really liked the vibe. It was really welcoming. The TV was not big and the WIFI connection is not... More

stayed for 4 nights in May.Location is great and lots of restaurants nearby offering good food.Breakfast in hotel was enjoyable.Slightly confusing to find as the street was numbered oddly and the name of another hotel was more obvious on the door. I would love to be able to recommend this hotel to friends and family but the first night we... More

We stayed here for four nights during our Italian honeymoon and overall left fairly disappointed. This is really an average hotel, it wasn't terrible but there was also nothing to make it great either. I will say that it is in a good location, walking distance to the colosseum, palatine hill, trevi fountain and most other big attractions. There are... More

The stay here was perfect! Location is great and the hotel is clean and warm. The bathroom is great and the hosts are very kind! I totally recommend it! :) It has many restaurants close and places to have a drink as well.

Amazing place great location less than a five minute walk to the colosseum and 3 minutes from a metro station. if coming from termini station take the metro to Cavour and walk straight on then right.can be tricky to find if walking from termini station. once you arrive the staff are friendly and there is a great antique lift. the... Disappointed when entering the room but all things considered it is a budget B&B right in the centre of Rome. The room is quite large but no extras (except hair dryer). Very clean and checked every day and fresh towels. Bed was comfortable, there is a ceiling fan if needed. Some street noise but not unacceptable. Quite close to some... More

It is part of Artorius hotel, located in the same building, the same reception, the same breakfast (breakfast has lots of options, including bread, ham, cheese, buter, jam, yogurts, crackers, cookies, croussants, juices, milk, coffee, tea - it was quite a choice, so for sure I forget to mention something). The room was clean, spacious (we even had a baby... More

Lovely B&B on small quiet street quite near Colosseum. Excellent staff and service. Nice clean room. Breakfast served in lovely pavilion that protects from weather. Neat old elevator like one sees in old movies. Would certainly return. Good restaurants in the area.

When we first arrived it was late at night, the road the hotel was on seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere and there is no sign with the hotel name on! Inside the hotel is quite quaint and the staff speak english and were very helpful. I was however really dissapointed when I got to our room... More

I came across this holiday after the apartment I was meant to be staying in was not fit for purpose. The person behind the desk - Mimmo - was so helpful and was able to sort me out a room for 3 nights out of the 4 I needed, so he phoned around trying to get me another hotel. The... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
