The Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum are within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our spacious, quiet room, the wonderful breakfasts and the helpful and friendly staff. We hope to stay there again some day.

Just returned from a two night stay at the Lancelot. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street and is quite elegant. We had a suite on the top (6th) floor with a large private balcony which had fantastic views of the Coliseum and St. Peters in the distance , At night when the lights go on it is... More

This is a great boutique hotel walking distance from the Colisseum. Warm hospitality, clean rooms and good breakfast each morning. We ate the family style dinner two nights. First night was fabulous, second night was a little disappointing, grilled lamb chops were sliced very thin and fatty. Pasta dishes were great!

Very comfortable hotel, helpful & friendly staff, excellent location. Only complaints concern the A/C unit in our room that didn't work too well- we reported it, and the shower drain was very slow. Overall a great value. Our choice for our next visit!

We were traveling multiple cities and looking for a place to sleep 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers), a place to stash our car, and someplace close to the Colosseum. With Hotel Lancelot we found all of that and much, much more. After lengthy tours each day, we joined other travelers and sometimes the owners of the establishment for a wonderful... More

This place is a gem. It has lots of character and the service was excellent. We also very much enjoyed dinner, and getting to know the owners, who had dinner with us. We had a minor problem with the room (TV and air wouldn't turn on) but the staff had it corrected inside of 10 minutes after we reported it... More

Most conveniently located. With ever willing to help staff. House keeping staff most trust worthy. Dinner served in Hotel real value for money. Breakfast very well planned with choice and service most efficient even when groups rush in.

This hotel was a great bargain! Great breakfast with lots of choices, eager staff, small but very clean and adequate bedrooms, air conditioning, good location, and overall very pleasant. I would stay here again. Would rate it 4.5 if that was an option.

We booked a night at Hotel Lancelot after finding it on Trip Advisor. It certainly lived up to its expectations with great service, very comfortable rooms and a great location to access the Colosseum. We had a the family room and another double room and both were very nice, especially the family room which was spacious enough for our two... More

My family of 4 stayed here and had a spacious, beautiful room with a private balcony. Great location if you are spending time at Ancient Rome sites. The breakfasts and dinner were delicious and a great value. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
