Close to, indeed directly behind, the forum. Fully deserves the moniker boutique. Sunny lady serving breakfast tea - and the complimentary afternoon coffee are particular bonuses. The hotel is quiet in what can be a noisy city and the district of Monti is a real delight.

Picked this hotel after reading other reviews and was not disappointed. Central location a few hundred metres from Colosseum and adjacent historical sites. Set in a little back street this hotel was very clean and our room was cleaned and serviced each of the 3 days. Staff were very friendly and attentive (the lady who served breakfast 2 days was... My partner and I returned from Rome a couple of days ago, and we loved this hotel. It is very central to all sites - and set right in the heart of Ancient Rome. The Colosseum is just down the road (literally a 5 minute walk), and Pantheon around 10 minutes up Via de Corso. The Vatican is a bit... More

Ok, I did not know if I should write a review about Nerva Boutique Hotel, because my experience there was simply perfect. My girlfriend and I stayed at Nerva Boutique Hotel for one night in April 2015. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The rooms are beautiful and spacious for European standards, very modern as well. We loved the... More

My husband and I, along with our two children (ages 6 and 8) had a 3 night stay at Hotel Nerva over the Easter weekend and I cannot say enough good things about our experience there. The room was lovely- clean, with spacious bathroom and comfortable beds. The location is superb in that it faces Trajan's Forum. We found the... More

I can't say anything negative about the room. It was great. But the hotel is so over priced for a 3 star hotel. We payed about 250 euros per night and that did not include breakfast. We booked last minute. I would look around for something cheaper. There are lots in the same area for a much better price and... More

I did a lot of research in guidebooks and online before I settled on Nerva Hotel for my first visit to Rome. I'm glad I did. My 7-night stay in a deluxe single room was perfect. This is a beautifully designed small hotel with comfortable beds, a helpful staff, and generous breakfasts. The location is ideal, next to the Forum... More

This hotel should be a 4* my 7 day stay at this hotel with my husband and my 2 teenage daughters was fantastic, the hotel is extremely clean, the beds are comfy, and the breakfast is brilliant! The staff and management (especially Sally) are the most helpful I have ever met. Overall a brilliant experienced! Thank you Hotel Nerva Boutique

Stayed here while in Rome for 2 days. Location was conveniently near Colosseum and Forum and about a 10-15 minute walk to Metro. Rooms were clean and hotel staff was very friendly. Had neat view of Forum wall with balcony, but that was about all you could see.

This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Rome. From our first contact with the online booking confirmation and right up until the last moment of our stay, the staff here could not have been more helpful, efficient and friendly. When we asked to make slight alterations to our initial booking, they did so without any fuss. We booked... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
