I have nothing negative to say about this lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast, great service, close to the Colosseum and to other main attractions, quiet, peaceful and genuine. Perfect for a romantic holiday! The staff is extremely helpful and

I chose this hotel because I love the intimacy of boutique hotels and hate the chains where the decor in every room is the same! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and knowledgable. They provided us with maps and a print out of recommended places to eat and drink which was indispensible and allowed us to locate... More

I've stayed at three different hotels in Rome. The Nerva hotel is one of the best hotels among not only the two hotels but also others. Kind staffs and cleaned rooms are welcoming for our visit. And the location is quite close to Colosseo and Piazza di Venezia, so we can access to every places. I can recommend this hotel... More

Stunning little hotel, about five minutes walk from Piazza Venezia, and about the same from the Colosseum. As a solo (female) traveller, at no point did I feel unsafe walking back to the hotel at night, even though ti is on a small cobbled lane. it is very quiet, especially at night and early in the morning. The single rooms... More

I am just back from this hotel. I never usually write reviews but this hotel was just fab! The hotel was situated in a perfect location beside nice bars and restaurants, the rooms were spotless and the staff were very helpful and friendly. This hotel was a great find especially for the price paid. They even offered free tea, coffee... More

I chose this hotel mainly for its location, and its location is just brilliant. Within minutes you arrive at the Forum, Colloseum and other sights. Despite that, the neighborhood is rather quiet and totally safe. The staff was very friendly, helpful and personable. I had great chats with the staff in various days, and the overall atmosphere was just very... More

Brilliant hotel. 5 mins walk to the colluseum, lovely restaurants nearby, safe neighbourhood. The breakfast is superb. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are air conditioned. If going to Rome doing typical touristy stuff you won't need to be paying for buses or taxis. It's all on the door step. Also it's on a narrow lane way so it's... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely hotel. In a good location within walking distance to all the major sights. Rooms spotless and a lovely selection for breakfast. A problem did occur with our rooms as there was no hot water for the whole of our stay which was no fault of the hotel. The manager Paulo... More

Small, very friendly hotel, the staff are excellent and seem to really care about their guests. They booked restaurants for us and gave us a list of recommended ones for different areas of Rome. All the staff we encountered have a good command of English. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful, with freshly squeezed orange, fruit, cheese, ham, cake, croissants,... More

A great hotel located a short walk from the Colosseum, and within walking distance of all the main attractions, including the Vatican, Very friendly and helpful staff, they went out of their way to ensure you had a great stay. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Rome.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
