Highly Recommend this place! Here are some specifics. We stayed four nights, in a Deluxe Room on the second floor (3rd Floor for those in the Americas). WHAT I LOVED -The location: it's in the center of Rome, but on a quiet street facing an old Roman wall. It was so easy to walk to most places. -The breakfast: Sally,... More

This hotel has a very good location, and was quiet for sleeping. Excellent good value breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Very clean and comfortable especially the beds. Our room and bathroom were well equipped. Good wifi

250 euro - breakfast excluded - for apartment hotel stay? You can stay with it, but with views over the Coliseum or the Trevi. What if you have one rundown street next Cavour subway, with cars, noise and beggars all around? Must have been very unlucky with hotels in Rome, but it seems many reviewers have very low expectations. Nothing... More

Dear Sir, unfortunately we think you wrote a review about the WRONG hotel. As you can see on our official website we are located just in front of the Augustus and Nerva Forum in a very charming and characteristic area and the metro Cavour is far (about 15 minutes walk from our hotel). Furthermore we are not an apartment hotel... More

What a great hotel! I stayed here with my mother for five nights on our first trip to Rome. The staff was universally friendly, welcoming and helpful and they all spoke excellent English. Our room, while small, was stylish, very comfortable, well-appointed, and quiet. The location was great - walking distance to the Colosseum, the Forum, the Pantheon and so... More

Hotel Nerva is for starters in the most amazing location. Two minutes from the Colosseum and easy access to the whole of Rome. The hotel is clean and fresh, the rooms are comfortable. We had a room with a Juliet balcony and the view of the old church was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast lady... More

The location can't be beat. Just steps from everything you want to see. The room itself was a pleasant surprise--I thought it was large by European standards. Charming yet contemporary Italian design. Bathroom was small but very clean, and the closet was large. The bed was stiffer than I prefer, and I wish I had asked if they had feather... More

Our recent stay at Hotel Nerva made our first trip to Rome perfect. The hotel was very clean. The rooms, though small, were well appointed and very stylishly decorated. We chose to add on the breakfast for €10.00 each and I'm glad. It was very convenient, and Sally our server, was super sweet. I wish I had gotten the names... More

This was my first boutique hotel stay, so I didn't know what to expect. However, I was impressed!10min walk from the Metro station and the Coliseum is right outside the front steps of the Metro station. My room was small (#210), but it was only me, so it didn’t really matter. Continental breakfast was great and the staff is very... More

My wife did all the homework and legwork for our vacation and hit a home run with our hotel stay in Rome. The staff remained in contact from the time of booking to the time we checked out. Email responses were received in a day or two, and we had 2 tours (Vatican Tour and the Angels and Demons Tour),... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
