We stayed three nights prior to a cruise and were very satisfied. The location could not be any better. It is small but has been remodeled with clean beautiful bathrooms. Part of the Forum is right across the narrow street. The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Victor Emmanuel monument and many others are in easy walking distance. Only the Vatican... More

This Boutique Hotel is 5-10 minutes from all the main attractions. The hotel itself is kept very clean and with a very hospitable staff. Last July we stayed for 5 nights and had very good time in our Junior Suite which was very cool- modern and with a lovely modern bathroom (nice shower). Our room was on the first floor... More

Perfect location in the heart of Ancient Rome, just amazing. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was just as pictured with our two children. While we were there it was over 40 degrees ! We were given great help and advice on ideas from the staff so that we could still sightsee without getting heat stroke. Recommendations on restaurants... More

Dear Leanne C, thank you for recommending us and your detailed review. We would like to point out that from the picture you have posted you were staying in our Master Suite instead of the Junior Suite and we have already taken action with the wifi in order to fix any problems. We thank you for referring that to us.... More

We are seasoned travelers and typically stay in 4-5 star hotels. This boutique had every amenity and more than other hotels we have stayed at in the past. It was immaculate, the hotel had been completely remodeled and looked brand new. Although the rooms in Europe are not as large as we are used to in the U.S., the hotel... More

A perfect location with the Colosseum and Forum only a 10 min. walk. With the exception of the Travestere and Vatican areas most every antiquity is within walking distance. Antonio and his staff were excellent, always accomodating. Always ready w/ touring advice, restaurants, etc. Breakfast daily was perfect. Our room, #101, was very comfortable and clean. We will return and... More

When they say the hotel is near the Forum, they mean it! We could see the ancient wall 20 feet from our window. 10 minute walk to Colosseum. 15 minutes to Trevi Fountain. Neighborhood is quiet. You won't stay here for the amenities in the room, but who comes to Rome to sit inside the hotel? Staff was very nice... More

The Hotel was located in the heart of the ancient city, just few minitues walk to Colosseum, Roman Forums and Venice square. The Trevi fountain is just 10-15minitues and also Navona square and the Pantehon. There are so many good restaurents in the neighbourhood of the Hotel called "monti area". Hotel rooms were verynicely decorated and the rooms were clean.The... More

This Boutique hotel is located in an amazing area (right by the Colosseum) and close to everything a tourist needs to see while staying in Rome. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient (and we know great customer service is hard to find in most of the European cities). My husband and I stayed at this hotel as it was... More

I spent four wonderful nights in this hotel on my first visit to Rome. The hotel itself is lovely with rooms tastefully decorated. The hotel is located perfectly for sightseeing - only a short walk to most of the major attractions. A beautiful boutique hotel which I highly recommend

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
