The customer service is excellent! They treat you kindly and welcoming, they take care of everything and leave you feeling like you are in your home away from home! The room are beautifully decorated with a very nice bathroom. Overall it is excellent!

I want to share my (wonderful) experience at Hotel Britannia in Rome, where I spent a awesome weekend with my husband: I read a couple of terrible reviews, I chose this hotel for the great feedbacks and mine is not less: the hotel is offering some renovations, we entered a room that looked elegant, fresh, clean, cosy and very romantic.... At the end of June we stayed at The Britannia in Rome is in the historic district of Rome, centrally located and within 100 ft. of the main road. The receptionist Marco was very very helpful. We upgraded to a large 2 room suite, with a tub ,robes, slippers, free wine, because most rooms have no view. It was room... More

Like the last review, I paid for a room & found no reservation upon arrival. No Marco for me, however. They said too bad. Trying to get a refund. The latest is the hotel said I was a no show. I'm out 90 pounds.

The booking company cocked up and we arrived to find no reservation for us, and the hotel fully booked! Marco to the rescue!! He assured us that we would be able to stay at their sister hotel, paid for our taxi transfers, and looked after us graciously and with no little style. We finally stayed at The Brittania 1 week... Spent 3 nights in the hotel Britannia at the start of July. Room was large and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom which also had a TV! Free minibar was a great addition! Staff were very helpful especially Marco at the front desk who went out of his way to help us find great restaurants and tips for travelling about... More

I recently arrived back from my holiday and had stayed 4 nights at this hotel. I stayed with my husband and 9 year old and had a room with an extra bed for her. We were greeted with a warm smile and orange juice and little cookies. A very nice start. First the good. The breakfast was fantastic as others... More

Hotel was located a bit far from the historic centre to my liking but otherwise ok, no street noise. Room was quite small ( we had an extra bed in the room) but tidy and bathroom was really big, well lit and modern. On arrival there were free refreshments in the minibar and you could also make coffee and tee... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
