The Hotel Britannia is a nice clean hotel, with a central location of teh main road. The rooms are very, very compact, but if you've out most of the time as we were, then it's not a problem. The bathroom is a good size. The internet room is tiny, I'm not joking, it's the size of broom cupboard. When you... more

First trip to Rome , travelled with wife and 20 something son and daughter and first holiday as 'family' in many years so wanted everything to be right. Love it or hate it Trip Advisor is useful in making sure you are going to get a good hotel but sometimes the reviews for same hotel are so varied that it... more

The Britannia Hotel situated on Via Napoli is a small four star hotel close to everything in Rome for a very reasonable price. Nice hotel, wonderful location right off Via Nationale. Just down the road from virtually everything, and six blocks from Termini Station and a 1 Euro train ride to anywhere in the city, to Ostica Antica, or Columbo... more

What a great visit. Three days in Rome staying at the Britannia before jumping on a cruise ship. The staff was very helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding. We liked the fact that everything we wanted to see was a downhill walk from the hotel. Well, the Vatican was a taxi, but easy walk to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Coliseum, and loads... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Britannia for three nights during our 25th wedding anniversary trip. The hotel was quiet, a great value, and the breakfasts were fabulous! The staff was friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel. Either walk or take the metro to all the sights as it is also in a great... more

Awesome. Front desk staff, e.g., Steffania, is super. Nice that they have a few suites so the family can be all together (hard to find in Rome). Rooms are clean, updated and cozy. Breakfast is fantastic, among best we've ever had (and it's included). 10 to 15 min cab ride to all major destinations. more

We stayed at the Britannia for 3 nights we stayed in a superior double with a balcony. The room was great, roomy, very good ac, nice bathroom. The hotel is in a great location. Not too far from the train station and still close to all the sights. The hotel provided us with a sight seeing map. They had a... more

We stayed here having worked out that the first hotel we had booked was too far out of the centre. Enrico was our initial point of contact and was extremely helpful & courteous. The hotel is small but charming and really well located just off the Via Nazionale - perfect for less noise but still in the centre of everything.... more

This hotel was a bit different. Especially the bathroom. They had a little plastic duck. And solarium in the ceiling. Believe it or not. The breakfast was was very good. But I stayed in one of the cheapest rooms, and that was an unbeviable small room. Big bed, but almost no floorspace. Free wire-less internet, though. more
