I never write review but I had to in this case! I cannot stress enough how great Hotel Britannia was- we were only there for one night and from the moment we entered the room, I truly wished that we were staying longer. The room was absolutely amazing- on the top floor, with a terrace, huge bed, organic cosmetic products,... More

The Britannia is a wonderful boutique hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, professional and very patient with our questions. The room we had was charming, clean and had lots of personality. The complimentary mini-bar was a wonderful touch! The bathroom had been recently remodeled, and we loved our rubber duck! The breakfast was delicious; fresh fruit, meat, cheese and... More

My husband and I have just returned home from our stay at the Britannia and have already told friends and family how lovely this hotel is. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. They couldn't do enough for us, even when I realised I had stupidly brought the wrong plug... More

Hotel Britannia was the first of many hotels andor B&Bs we stayed at on our tour of Italy. It was fantastic - quiet street, pleasant staff, great breakfast, clean and comfortable room, 15 minutes walking distance to many attractions including the Colosseum, Spanish steps, Pantheon etc. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reasonable priced hotel while touring the... My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to Rome, we booked a terrace room and were not disappointed, we had room 402. The room was very clean and a really good size, it had a large bed, sitting area, dressing table and large bathroom with shower, tv and sunlamp. The outside terrace was fantastic having sun in... Although I did read many great reviews about this hotel prior to booking/staying, I must confess my stay even surpassed those comments from others. The hotel is quite close to Termini Station which is extremely central to amenities; however, it is located down a little quiet street. The hotel itself is extremely well-kept, and the staff are extremely friendly and... More

We stayed in two rooms in this fantastic little gem a few blocks from Termini station. It is a quaint place with somewhat small rooms but that is expected given its location. The rooms are still well appointed and quite comfortable. the bathrooms are clean and have great showers. the minibar )including wine and beer is complimentary and restocked daily.... More

We had HEARED tons of negative things about Rome, and how we had to be careful of the people there etc but all the staff at hotel Britannia managed to change our pre conceived notions. They were warm, friendly and completely honest with us. They went over and above their call of duty suggesting really good places to eat, what... More

This was our third stay at the Hotel Britannia in Rome. The rooms are small but well appointed, the breakfast is the best in town, and the staff is absolutely fantastic! Also, we scheduled a private tour of the Forum directly through the Hotel and were extremely pleased with our guide, Fabio, and the price charged. We will be back!

Booking a room in Rome can be intimidating. There is no shortage of choices but sorting through the options can be time consuming and comparisons unreliable. Let me help. We are experienced travelers; in fact, my wife owned a travel agency for years. Within reason, we can afford to stay where we choose but we recognize and appreciate good value.... More
