Fantastic location, lovely staff, great breakfast. Hotel could do with a little updating but it feels like you are staying in hotel with history. The drinks a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Would stay here again for sure.

We just spent 2 weeks traveling to various locations and cities in Italy, and Hotel Locarno was by far the best hotel in any place for the price. We stayed for 3 nights after a friend recommended it to us. The hotel itself is charming and old-style, with an old fashioned elevator that my children (aged 5 and 8) thought... More

Location of the Hotel is Next to Piazza del Popolo and via del Corso. Hotel rooms are so small. Sliding door of the Toilet came out when closed, Rusted. Facilities less, Quiet old- is not worth for the money you pay.Metro is near by. Buffet Breakfast is good. Staffs are good, service oriented.

We had four nights in the Hotel Locarno. My kids fell in love with the tiny elevator and there is no question that the hotel is in a great location. The rooftop bar is a gem and I would highly recommend a nightcap up there. The breakfast buffet is fantastic (the best we had in Italy). Pillows are unfortunately as... More

Located next to Piazza del Popolo and via del Corso. Easy to reach. Quiete area. Clean and well cared. Rooms too small. Price too high although in the average for its category, but this is a problem with hotel prices in Rome.

This is a delight of hotel. I had reserved this hotel for one night in the beginning. Due to flight mishaps, I needed to add an additional night. With the hotel booking company I used there was a mishap. I was able to contact the hotel directly and they worked with me and were able to add an additional night.... More

Stayed for 5 nights in the middle of the summer last year. The hotel is in a lovely quiet area right next to Piazza Del Popolo. When you step inside, the decoration and furniture is very classy and you feel like you're in a 5 star hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and gave us a map of the... More

This was the second time I stayed at this well-located small hotel, a couple of blocks from the Piazza del Popolo. The room was very clean and well-appointed, although on the small side. The breakfast was ample with a wide selection. Best of all, the hotel staff were extremely helpful, both before and during our stay. If I go to... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Locarno for 3 nights in May. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming and very helpful. Especially Barbara - who helped us with all our tours (and many changes) and dinner reservations and airport pick up. Hotel is in a terrific location and the rooftop bar is a gem. We spent... More

My mom and I stayed here for four nights in October and both loved it. We had a big room in the hotel's second building - it was big with lots of windows and two balconies. The bathroom was admittedly a bit old fashioned (a shower head in a tub, with no shower curtain) but this didn't bother either of... More
