We stayed in Rome for 4 nights as part of a 3 week trip in April 2013. We rented two rooms, one for a couple (Michaelangelo Room) and one for our mom (Botticelli Room). This place has a modest guest room set up and is located on the 4th floor of an older building. Don't expect a sign when you... More

I stayed for 2 nights over the weekend in April of 2013 and it was not what I expected when I booked the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the rooms are tiny and should not be considered a luxury hotel by any means. The entrance to the hotel is very confusing as there isn't really a hotel lobby.... More

Nice, clean rooms, offering breakfast in the room (only), Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV. Ok, rooms were not very big (basic space to get around) but everything else was very nice. Great value for money, close to the Spanish Steps (you just have to climb them when you return).

We went there to visit Rome & The Vatican Domus Via Veneto is a bed and breakfast (I specify as it took me some time to figure out before booking). The rooms are located in an old building, and once you enter the part reserved to Via Veneto, it's like being in a nice hotel. Rooms are really clean and... More

We stayed here for my birthday in June 2012. We thought the staff were very welcoming and their english good, when the lady didnt know a word she would look it up and attempt to say it which we thought was good. The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was served at a time which suited us and the... More

Lilly and Barbara are wonderful hosts making you feel quite at home and both speak excellent English! The rooms are spacious and comfortable with breakfast served in your room. Location wise, its a great deal quieter than in the main centres so you get a great nights sleep without the noise of cars, scooters and passersby. The residential area is... More

I recently stayed 3 nights in a very comfortable triple room in Domus Via Veneto on a family business trip. The location was excellent and the service friendly and personal. Breakfast was served in the room. Barbara and Lilly gave us good restaurant and sightseeing suggestions and directions, and made our reservations for the Borghese Galleries - which were within... My wife and I stayed four nights over Thanksgiving. The hotel is in a quiet location off Via Veneto, near the American Embassy and a 5-10 minute walk to the Barberini metro. The surrounding area felt very safe, and there was no noise at night. It is slightly confusing to find the hotel the first time you walk in, but... More

My boyfriend and I recently went to Rome for a long weekend and stayed for three nights in Domus Via Veneto. I would highly recommend this beautiful little guesthouse. The building is lovely, and although it is tucked away, is in an area that felt very safe - right near the American Embassy. We got the train from the airport... More
