We were part of a tour group staying in nearly 8-9 different hotel throughout all of Italy. This hotel called ESH for short was the worst for the rooms being cool enough to sleep. The front desk controlled the temperature even though you had individual thermostats in each room on the wall (just for looks) . The only thing you... More

This is a clean and comfortable hotel, set a in quiet surroundings. I only heard the dog once! The room was a good sixe, certainly big enough for three adults. Lovely bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink and bidet. The shower had a rainfall shower head. There was plenty of towels. Not noisy and the air con worked OK. The... More

This is the first time my friend and I visited Rome. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff let us check in early which is good plus the wifi is free so we can browse and organised ourself where to go first. Our room was clean everyday and we had fresh towel. Even tho the hotel is a few... More

We stayed here for three nights in March. The trip was purchased for us as a gift so we had no real idea of ehat to expect. However we were delighted. The hotel is smart, clean, far enough away from the centre of Rome to be quiet. The staff were all very helpful especially the front desk. The restaurant is... More

I booked a short visit online for two for a visit to Rome through BROADWAY TRAVEL of Luton. The hotel was pleasant enough but the online advert stated the hotel was 5 minutes from the centre. I am not sure how they measured this. We had to walk about 1km to get to the Metro. From there the line ran... More

Spent 4 nights at this hotel and we certainly werent disappointed. From the time we walked through the door to the time we left for the airport everything was fantastic. Our room was clean and well looked after, plenty of room for what we needed. Sleep and shower etc. Nice and cool in the heat . Breakfast was very good... More

Stayed at the ESH the end of May/beginning of June this year. Firstly, there is an orphanage ran by nuns on the same site with a small dog who likes to bark... Also, the walls are very thin! We could hear everything our neighbours were up to! Ontop of this the aircon in room 305 does not work. However, that's... More

i stayed here June 6 and 7th. The rooms were very hot. The air conditioning did not work. I had to go three times to get something done. The breakfast was okay, but the milk they serve is sour. Front desk people were terrible, as well as the manager on duty.

Not bad but it's more of a 3 star than a 4 star. Interior was modern but simple, clean overall worst thing being poor beds and the view from hotel windows is rubbish. Area isn't far from the shops and restaurants but if your looking to be walking distance then this isn't for you. At least 15 minute drive. Friendly... More
