Had a three night stay, we arrived at 17.00 and decided we would eat in the restaurant and goodness how pleased were we ? We ate their all three of the nights ! Food was excellent, wines were to die for, prices were equal to England, I had expected to pay much higher prices being in Rome. The head waiter... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. Good value for money and not too far out from the city centre. I would agree with other comments that this is more a 3 star than 4. The breakfast was a bit disappointing but adequate. Having said that after the first day,a very friendly waiter also offered us omelettes... More

Stayed 4 nights as part of BA package deals. For the price it's a decent hotel, rather 3 star though. Staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean. Transport links are not too bad if you don't mind walking a bit and travelling with bus or metro. We are from London so are used to big city travelling. We noticed... More

The staff: This hotel definitely deserves its 4* status for the staff alone! the hotel staff are so friendly and helpful i really could not have faulted them in the slightest. the front desk lady gave us all the information that we could possibly need for our 5 day stay and the barman, he stands alone as possibly the highlight... I stayed here with my Granda, Dad and 2 sisters. We arrived a good few hours before check in and that wasn't an issue the reception staff were all lovely! We had only booked to double rooms and had to change one to fit 3, this was not a problem again and we were given keys to the room after... More

We got the hotel as part of British Airways package. The hotel is spacious and cosy. We stayed for 4 nights and actually enjoyed our stay. The bed was huge and comfortable and room was spacious without being homely. My girlfriend always uses a bath, and none of the rooms had any, which was a pain for her. The breakfast... More

Arrived at 9.30 in evening following a delayed flight only to be told that there were problems with their booking system and there was no room left for us! They moved us to the The Church House which looked great from the outside but clearly had seen better days once we got inside. Returned to ESH for last 3 nights,... More

This is a good place to stay to explore Rome. It's 10 minutes from Cornelia metro station and so only 30-40 mins from the historic centre and the main attractions. The area around the station also has a few good places to eat in the evenings. The best restaurant we ate at (La Noteccia) was the other way from the... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights- firstly no prior warning that we would be taxed an extra 60 pounds that started the day we arrived on the 1st September. We were really tired when we got there from flights and went to sleep. The next day we asked a male behind reception to help us with transport... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, 1st visit to Rome. Hotel is in a quiet area with good transport links to all attractions. Bus stop and metro within walking distance. Breakfast was included, good selections, something for everyone. Evening meals cooked to a high standard with a variety of choices and not too pricey. Zahed behind the bar is outstanding, your...
