The accommodations were exactly as specified. Checkin was a bit strange, having to enter the restaurant next door (where you also go for a basic continental breakfast). But all was great once in our room which faced the street. Beautiful modern bathroom and a spacious bedroom. It is so central that we walked to everywhere even Vatican City! Restaurants galore and... I have mixed feelings about this accommodation. First the positives. Our room was more like a spacious apartment. Very large with impressive marble floors and lovely furniture throughout. The bathroom was modern and there was even a little kitchenette (which we didn't use). More than enough storage space and complimentary water and juice. We didn't have a view - just... More

The room was much better than in pictures, two large bathrooms and large bedrooms. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was worse than usual but was sufficient. Sights were short distances from the hotel.

If location matters to you, stay there! If you are looking for a kind-of-apartment rather than a full-serviced hotel, stay there. If you are an independent traveler, that's the place to be in a very special location. In my regards, it works as an apartment (a guest-suite). Since we were three, we stayed in the penthouse. I agree with a... More

Fantastic place to stay, the rooms are comfy, large and very clean. The drinks in the room were a god send. The location was perfect for us to go off exploring. We were really well taken care of including and upgrade to the penthouse for the majority of our stay as it was our 10th anniversary. I'd definitely recommend a... More

It was very nice. Room was much better than we expected and for the price was excellent. Room and bathroom was large. Easy walking distance to many sites within Rome. Didn't actually use public transport at all as we walked everywhere. Annette was very nice and gave us some help when discussing what we were doing for the day. Location... More

Spacious room and bathroom, great location. Enjoyed staying in a smaller hotel for a couple of nights. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Not a lot of selections. Fruit pastry, yogurt, packaged toasts with jam. Nothing special. Some real bread would have been nice. Overall, I loved the place and would definitely recommend!

We visited back in April and the location is perfect, it is noisy at night but as you are in the town centre this is to be expected. Breakfast was a little disappointing but the rooms excellent and clean, I would stay here again when visiting rome.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
