We stayed at the hotel in late April with our two young children. The hotel was located right by the Pantheon -- literally 50 feet away. Even with two children under the age of 6, the location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere in Roma. The front desk was helpful and the breakfast was typical small hotel... more

We stayed one night in the annex room and were very disappointed. The annex is severly in need of a FULL renovation. Old bed covers , miniscule closet bathroom, musty and dusty. Very noisy, even in early Dec. Bed unconfirtable , hard and sqeeky. The view of the Pantheon was great but coulld not make up for the negatives. The front... more

Stayed here for 3 nights - we had a good view of the Pantheon if we leaned out of the window, otherwise we looked across the Piazza. The piazza is really buzzing, great in Nov. but would be noisy in the summer if you wanted the windows open. The room was v. pleasant but we found the beds hard &... more

The hotel overlooks the pantheon - one of the best preserved sites in Rome. Hotel is lovely - good service & nice rooms. Breakfast isn't great but sufficient - cold continental food only. Would definately return. more

My wife did the tour of Italy on our honeymoon, starting in Venice, going to Florence, then Rome, then Positano. This was the only really disappointing hotel. We stayed just one night. The rooms were dark, musty, and the bathroom smelled mildewy. We asked for a better room, but were told it was the best one. I have to confess... more

We have just returned form Rome after staying 3 nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was in a separate building from thehotel (50 yards) and had 4 of us in there (2 adults, 2 children). The room had the most beautiful view of the Pantheon (Room 111). The staff were courteous and efficient. The breakfast was great, varied choice... more

As a result of having misbooked our reservations to begin our stay at the Albergo del Senato, we arrived in Rome with no place to stay on the night of our arrival. The desk concierge at del Senato, Salvatore, quickly arranged accommodations for us at the Albergo del Sole Al Pantheon for the evening for half price!. The large apartment... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Late May 2008. We arrived early and the hotel graciously allowed us to leave our luggage while we went out and explored the city. Our room was a "double room superior" and overlooked the Pantheon Square. The view was tremendous but so was the noise at night (if you left the... more

My daughter, BFF and her son stayed at the Sole Al Pantheon for 3 nights at the end of June. We had just completed a 12 day cruise and were exhausted but ready to experience Rome. This was my third trip but my friend and her son's first. I selected this hotel based on reviews off of this website and... more

I found my experience at this hotel delightful, the room was clean, well maintained by Catherine, and ample; clean bathroom and rather large; large screen flat-TV, but wish their mini-bar was empty to use as a refrig. The breakfast was excellent, more than excellent; staff generous with their time and always assisted me when needed. Would not hesitate to stay... more
