About 10 years ago my wife and I were enjoying a glass of wine at the Piazza della Rotonda. We noticed the hotel sign and joked that next time in Rome we should stay at Hotel Sole. Not until after retirement we again visited Rome and made a stay at this excellent hotel come true. Just an ideal hotel location... More

Very good stay at this hotel in Rome. Have just spent 5 nights. Having a room in the main hotel building overlooking the square is a must. It is an amazing view and atmosphere. Great breakfast on terrace, friendly staff at reception and helped us book opera, taxi rank nearby with porter service, nice clean rooms with air con, sound... More

This is a fantastic hotel! The location is perfect; a few steps from the Pantheon. Our room on the 4th floor looked out on this magnificent building as well as the surrounding square with its entertaining buskers and buzzing cafes. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and cool and the breakfast buffet was very nice - perfect before... More

Walk out the front door and you are literally only metres from the Pantheon, restaurants, bars , shopping and gelato shops! The hotel is not large but is very comfortable and the staff helpful. We stayed for four nights and looked forward each day to the beautiful breakfasts served in the open air breakfast room (pictured). Would stay here again,... More

A quaint hotel in a great location. On arrival we were upgraded to a room with a fabulous view of the Pantheon. Our room was very comfortable, with a safe and fridge/minibar. The staff at reception extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of variety in a lovely bright & airy breakfast room. We only stayed... More

We stayed here with our family for a few days in two double rooms, one overlooking the square, one at the inside patio overlooking the breakfast terrace (which is no more than a tent covering the patio). Very nice rooms, good hygiene and airco. Breakfast is pretty basic. No information available on the room how to use the safe, no... More

Title says all... we were very happy family! Even late at night there is service, excellent knowledge about the sight seeing. The location is fantastic. We will come back in the near future! We loved it.

This Hotel was in the heart of everything, it's location is ideal. The noise and bustle from the Rontonda outside, was never a problem. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the view of the pantheon right from the window was amazing! The best was first thing in the morning, when the Piazza was empty, just so beautiful! Breakfast was served... More

I am still bowled over by this hotel, the service, the décor, the food, the ambience, the location, just stunning! I stayed here for my second wedding anniversary and I am so glad I did. I booked the room on the basis of how it looked on the hotel's website, sometimes hotels can be portrayed much more luxurious on a... More

Dates travelled there were JULY8-10,2014. Just myself and my husband and 13 others staying there with our group of friends. When we arrived at the piazza to the Pantheon, We had no idea we would be staying RIGHT THERE! We stayed on the third floor and when the shutters were opened "omg" we were looking at the front of the... More
