I've been knowing this hotel for such a long time I thought they would at least be courteous with me. In perfect bad faith, they charged me for two reservations (same names, same period), for a total amount of more than 7000 euros. This is shocking. I went there with my friends, my family, this was my centre in Rome.... More

This is a delightful hotel centrally located near many of the popular attractions in Rome. When you walk out the front door of the hotel, you are greeted by the beautiful sight of the Pantheon. The Piazza outside the hotel is an excellent place to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a beverage at the end of the evening.... More

An absolutely wonderful hotel in one of the most amazing settings in all of Europe. We arrived via the Airport train and we were able to walk from the station to the hotel in 15-20 minutes, via the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and a vast array of shopping. The location of the hotel is central to everything and if... More

Even with a bad check in experience this hotel and our stay was wonderful. This was my first time in Rome and was there with my Mother for her birthday. When I booked, I booked a twin room and had requested one overlooking the Piazza. I received an email about a week before we went asking if we needed transport... More

Our trip to Rome (3 days followed by an 11 day cruise) was a gift to my wife for her birthday. Our stay at this well-appointed hotel with its friendly and professional staff (not to mention a fantastic breakfast) was even more memorable considering its proximity to the Pantheon. We chose a superior room with an unrivaled view of the... More

One of the oldest hotels in Rome, built in the 15th century. The location is superb. We had a suite (311) facing the piazza Rotonda. It was a beautiful suite, quite large, full of atmosphere and very comfortable. To open the window facing the Pantheone with all its glory, feeling history, is something we'll never forget. Indeed, its a bit... More

This is our second stay - having stayed here a few years ago...and we will be back. The rooms are very comfortable - the hotel has the charm of the very old building that it is...where the rooms are different and varied. When we stayed the first time it was summer and we enjoyed the air conditioning. But since it... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with a great view from our tiny balcony, of the Pantheon. We walked almost everywhere -- during a 4 day stay, we saw the Colosseum, the Forum, the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, took a bus tour, took the kids to "gladiator school", etc. Our boys (age 10 months, 7 years, 8... Have just returned from 4 nights at this hotel. Although the room was quite small it had everything we needed and the view from the window was fantastic, especially at night when the Pantheon was lit and the cafes and bars came to life. There was a bit of noise but nothing that kept us awake, and getting ready to... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights and found it a great base for exploring all of Rome. Within walking distance to everything from the Vatican, Spanish steps, Coliseum, and Travestere. The hotel was well kept with plenty of character. Our room was immaculate and very spacious with a separate sleeping loft and sitting area. The room opened up... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
