This is our second stay - having stayed here a few years ago...and we will be back. The rooms are very comfortable - the hotel has the charm of the very old building that it is...where the rooms are different and varied. When we stayed the first time it was summer and we enjoyed the air conditioning. But since it... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with a great view from our tiny balcony, of the Pantheon. We walked almost everywhere -- during a 4 day stay, we saw the Colosseum, the Forum, the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, took a bus tour, took the kids to "gladiator school", etc. Our boys (age 10 months, 7 years, 8... Have just returned from 4 nights at this hotel. Although the room was quite small it had everything we needed and the view from the window was fantastic, especially at night when the Pantheon was lit and the cafes and bars came to life. There was a bit of noise but nothing that kept us awake, and getting ready to... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights and found it a great base for exploring all of Rome. Within walking distance to everything from the Vatican, Spanish steps, Coliseum, and Travestere. The hotel was well kept with plenty of character. Our room was immaculate and very spacious with a separate sleeping loft and sitting area. The room opened up... More

Good location right by the Pantheon, but little else for me to recommend it. The property is tired and parts of it unclean. Given the many other choices nearby, I would strongly advise to stay elsewhere.

My daughter and I stayed here last week for 4 nights, a birthday treat for me. The room allocated was very small and had a double bed despite a twin room being booked however we did get moved to the annex which was superb. The room was bright airy and very clean, bathroom excellent and great shower. The breakfast was... More

For history buffs, lovers of the grand style, and folks wanting to stay in the center of the historic section of Rome, this hotel is perfect. No less an author than Ludovico Ariosto stayed there and ate at the bar. He was born in 1473 if that tells you something of the age of the hotel. As the name implies,... More

We were 3 adults and two small children and out apartment was large enough for the 5 of us. Only one bedroom but a large living are with 2 double beds and a pull out single. The bedroom had a queen size bed. Across the piazza from the reception of the hotel but with a private entrance and elevator, as... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
