We chose to stay at this hotel because of the proximity to most of the landmarks in Rome. Once you step out of the hotel you are right in front of the Pantheon. There are many restaurants surrounding this hotel and they're all walking distance. It's also not too far from Piazza Navonna. From the hotel you can walk to... More

We very much linkes our stay at Albergo Sole. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very satisfying, broad variety of food. Only negative experience - that the bathtub didn't work. All in all a great stay and we would absolutely recommend it to our friends.

The location couldn't be better (for the price), you can literally open your windows and see the Pantheon in front of you. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, bathrooms were lovely and modern which we didn't expect as the hotel decor is quite old! Only down side is you could hear some noise from the Piazza at night... More

The location is outstanding and the staff is excellent. But the hotel itself needs a little attention. The mattress in our suite was awful, the walls were dirty at the corners from too many hands and not enough cleaning/paint. You can open the windows and be serenaded alternately by the crowd noise or the music on the piazza, or close... More

We have been to Rome many times and have always stayed at great hotels but have never stayed around the Pantheon area before. What a mistake that was. The Sole al Pantheon not only was a fantastic hotel for our family, 4 adults with 1 pregnant, but the location can not be beat. You are literally looking at the Pantheon... More

A brief review of this hotel, which for me and my partner had lots of positive aspects (noted by many other reviewers) and only one negative – quickly resolved, but one that I would have wanted to know of beforehand. We had booked a Classic Double room through Expedia two months in advance. On arrival we were shown to a... More

This hotel is in an excellent position overlooking the piazza opposite the Pantheon, which is one of the most popular sites to visit in Rome. The piazza is bustling with noise during the day and evening with music playing, the noise of the fountain and the customers visiting the various restaurants in the piazza. You will have to specify a... More

Picked this hotel based on reviews, for our first visit to Rome. We were not disappointed. To have a room overlooking the Pantheon (312) is awesome. This is a lovely hotel. Helpful, friendly staff, good facilities, excellent breakfast. I would recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return to Rome - knowing exactly where to stay.

I had understood it was near the Pantheon, but so happy that it was actually on the Piazza, the greatest view, well appointed room, the hotel is near to all the trendy restaurants and important sites. The staff very obliging, I look forward to staying there again, the only negative remark to be made is that the breakfast specially the... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location central in the historical center of Rome. We like walking an the Coliseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps are all within 30 minutes. There is a wealth of fantastic food nearby as well as the majority of major attractions in Rome. The staff is intelligent, multi-lingual, and helpful. Oh, and they smile and make one... More
