The Hassler is old style luxury hotel which is very rare now in the world. This hotel has great service, location and beautiful rooms. After 2 days at the Eden this felt like heaven. I trully recomend staying there, concierge are very helpful as well. Had a great stay there and will certainly return.

We stayed in room 2 of the 4 rooms in this delightful building that stands apart but is run by the Hotel Hassler. The rooms are considerably bigger than in the hotel and beautifully decorated with views of the Spanish Steps from your window. The ground floor has the Wine Academy where you can book a wine tasting. The rooms... More

First of all don't believe the negative reviews about the Hassler. We stayed here prior to our Holyland cruise on. The courtyard breakfast and expresso was the best I have ever had. We were greeted each morning by name for breakfast where we were surrounded by elegence and class. While we were there Spanish royalty and a former US Governor... More

I traveled by myself to Rome in late August. Not my first visit. However, the Hassler Hotel was the best - all around perfect yet discreet. Concierge staff wonderful. Returning at the end of Sept. 2010, and made plans to stay for 6 nights. Perfect location. Clean,. beautiful rooms with incredible bedding. Room service was impeccable. I cannot wait to... More

Myself and my wife stayed here for 6 nights and from the moment we walked into the front doors we were treated like movie stars. We were taken to our room which was a newly renovated room with a terrace. I honestly would have paid double if I was aware of the size and quality of the room given the... More

Second stay at the Hassler after 20 years. Still, the location is unsurpassed. also the ambiance and the great hall. very discrete for the people who don't need pomp and circumstances. got an immediate room upgarde to a lovely deluxe room with views of the city. roomsize good enough, only the mineral water got not stocked up for the second... We stayed at the Hassler for one night at the end of our trip to Italy (we had spent the previous week on the Amalfi Coast). It was perfect. Loved the location and the hotel staff was top notch. When we arrived we were given a very nice room, but it did not have a view. I asked about another... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
