I wish I could write a better review for this place as it is in a good location and has got 5 star ratings. Unfortunately, at this hotel you don't get what you pay for. Things that need improvement: 1. wireless speed (even for the paid option) 2. costumer service ( communication skills, language proficiency) 3. breakfast setting (hot bar)... More

This hotel was a real disappointment. The rooms were old and in need of refurbishment. We had a room and not a suite, so maybe the good reviews were for the suites? The staff was not friendly or welcoming. Breakfast was okay. The cold buffet was adequate, but the hot entrees were not tasty. Also, the hotel is in a... More

After 26 hours of travel we were warmly greeted by the front desk and upgraded from garden view to a room overlooking the Spanish Steps! When we got to the room and mentioned our long journey, a lovely tray of fresh fruit arrived moments later. Nice touch. As mentioned by previous reviewers, join the 'Leaders Club' before traveling. It costs... More

Fabulous service wonderful room, it was a page out of a Hollywood movie! There were beautiful frescos on the bathroom walls, lots of mirrors and closet space. The bed was like a cloud. Dinner upstairs in the velvet heart shaped booth was a dream!

Loved this hotel so much, we are hosting our wedding here in June. Service absolutely exemplary from the friendly but professional bar staff (do go for a cocktail and listen to the superb piano melodies) Classically beautiful and absolutely immaculate, we stayed in one of the suites, which overlooked the steps, classical decorated with top end toiletries and bed linen.... First, the location of the Hassler is great, within walking distance of some great restaurants and locations. (walking is the best way to see the city). After the sun goes down, the area is busy with nightlife. The Spanish steps offer a great view from many rooms in the hotel. The rooms themselves are very nice, but does not give... More

Spent three nights at the Hassler. The location is perfect, at the top of the Spanish Steps, staff is courteous and friendly, rooms are nicely appointed. Great place to stay in Rome. Easy to navigate Rome from the Hassler as taxis are abundant, but strolling the city is the best option.

This is an oasis in Rome. Our room is beautiful with excellent facilities. We have a full sized bath and shower with what I can best describe as an unpacking room for your luggage. My only concern was that I was made feel uncomfortable whilst waiting for service in the lounge after a long day. I had jeans and shirt... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
