This is them number one choice in Rome for those seeking luxury and elegance. It is an old world hotel as opposed to hotel de Russie or JK which are generally more expensive and appeal more to the chic trendy crowd. We were In room 101 which did not have a city view but was fabulous in every other way.... More

Just got back from Rome last night. Stayed at Hotel Hassler for 2 nights and cannot fault it. We came away to celebrate my 40th birthday as well as our 16th wedding anniversary. Knowing this the hotel upgraded us to a fabulous suite on the 6th floor. Once in the room we also had a bottle of champagne delivered! Staff... More

This hotel is fantastic in every way! The front desk staff and the concierge staff are extremely professional and friendly. We are among the pickiest of travelers and the Hotel Hassler was pure perfection. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The wait staff in the morning for breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable. At the top of... More

We stayed at this hotel as our fial hotel during our 2 week Italian tour. I found this hotel to be quite nice. As a Leading Hotel of the World member, this is the quality of hotel, I thought we could expect. The front desk employees are quite nice as are the Palm Restaurant employees (very good service indeed). The... More

I am in complete agreement with the raves! View from my room was not great but I was steps from the terrace with amazing views. Great way to enjoy Rome (especially if you're only there for a short period of time).

Stayed in August 2013. Our room was small and noisy, the hotel is decadent and really requires un update and some investments. Staff is not very kind, the behave like royalty and they do not serve guests. The view from the top of the building is gorgeous but, with the hotel location, is the only positive aspect. We will not... More

The Hotel Hassler is one of my favorite hotels ever. It is located at the top of the Spanish Steps and is an easy walk to everything. The room had a great view of the city and was large, beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The service is impeccable. No matter what you need there is someone from the hotel who... More

Great location - right at the top of the Spanish steps, very convenient and easy walk to some of Rome's top spots. Make sure you try to get a room with a good view so you can take in the city beneath you - the view from the top floor is incredible! Overall very nice room, luxurious, and great service.

We paid a bit extra for a larger room. Our room was next to an enormous balcony with breathtaking views over Rome. We spent hours taking in the view from that balcony everyday and night. we loved the convenience, the service and the up scale old world luxury. would not go back to Rome and stay anywhere else.
