Fabulous hotel with lots of atmosphere right in the heart of Rome. We stayed in this hotel for two nights as we were in town for the tennis . The service was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful courtyard where breakfast was served. Excellent hotel and worth the price.

Prior to our four-day stay at the Hassler in early August, we noted a couple of negative reviews on TripAdvisor. These comments were easily outnumbered by glowing assessments so the remarks about noise, indifferent service, or rude staff did not really concern us. On check-in, we waited for more than three hours for our Deluxe King Room to be ready... More

We stayed at the Hassler for 5 nights. We stayed at their newly-renovated rooms and suite. The rooms are very comfortable on the eye. Clean, mixture of contemporary and classical decor that is just simply and elegantly beautiful. The location is obviously unique, with Villa Borghese and via Venetto a short walk behind and the Spanish Steps and via Condotti... More

My wife and I and 5 year old son stayed 2 nights end of July. Reserved deluxe room cruise package with reasonable timely pickup from Civitavecchia. We arrived before 11am and was informed by reception upon check in that our room was unavailable until 2pm. Keep in mind that we booked our stay with a prearranged pickup by the hotel... More

Great location. On top of the Spanish Steps. We arrived and were immediately taken to our rooms which are very nice , although not huge they are fine. The concierge service is one of the best I have experienced. The breakfast buffet was above average of European buffets and lots of staff around eager to assist . They make it... More

This is a very classy hotel. It's location is excellent. It is at the top of the Spanish steps. The views from our room, on the fifth floor with balcony, were breathtaking. We could see St. Peter's Basilica, and the entire city laid out before us. The staff were outstanding, extremely nice, and spoke excellent English. The air conditioning could... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
