This hotel is perfect, perfect, perfect. The Concierge was particularly good. He gave us a recommendation for an Authentic Italian restaurant and it was also perfect and was able to tell us the best places to buy the souvenirs, pastas, delicacies etc that we wanted to take home with us. Would definitely stay here again. more

The Hotel Eden is charming...from the lobby and it has a good location, true. These two things alone however are not enough to justify its expensive price. In its day I'm sure the Eden was a great place to stay, but it is sorely in need of a sprucing up. The room we were first given was awful. It in... more

The Hotel Eden is a really elegant hotel. It is located on a hill above the Spanish Steps. It is within easy walking distance to the Borghese park. I stayed in room 518 with my mother and teenage daughter. The room was large and beautifully decorated. There were two balconies, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. Both... more

I travel enough to know that it is standard practice among some European hotels to show arriving clients to the least desirable room in hopes of off-loading it to the naive or bashful. As a Starwood Gold member (being entitled to an UPgrade, if available), I had hoped to bypass this annoying charade. But no, we were first shown to... more

It may be charming - but I was very disappointed with the service and amenity of Hotel Eden... especially given what they are charging. I would definitely stay elsewhere next time. more

We had a terrible experience as SPG gold members. They didnt like the fact we had a reduced rate using cash and points and tried to add a $90 breakfast to our bill which we never consumed and refused to remove it, being rude in the process more

We stayed at the Eden with friends for a few days. The hotel location is central and close to a large park but on top of a hill, nice when you walk down into the city, difficult when you come back with tired childrens. The staff and service was great, the rooms very clean but small and the walls thin... more

I had read several reviews on this site with regards to the indifferent treatment of Starwood members at the Rome hotels, but frankly believed my experience would be different. I was very wrong. The location of Hotel Eden is very central. However, from a walking point of view, be prepared for a lot of hills and stairs getting to and... more

We loved the hotel, the staff and the location. the 6th floor restaurant had an incredible view. don't miss it, even if just for morning coffee. We found the staff to be very helpful! We could walk everywhere. The only negative is that our room was very small. more

Hotel Eden does not disappoint. Part of the Le Meridien chain which I had been familiar with. I found this hotel on Luxury Group and were able to book directly with the hotel. Fast and efficient and the hotel was ideally located in the heart of city. Staff were very nice and helpful and spoke perfect English. This was not... more
