This is a beautiful, luxurious hotel. Stayed here for three nights with my daughter and her friend as a graduation present. The concierge was extremely helpful and planned our restaurants, which were outstanding. The location was fabulous, near the Spanish Steps and the lovely Via Veneto. The rooftop garden restaurant has one of the best views in all of Rome.... More

Our room was gorgeous, on the 5th floor, in a corner, so it was quiet. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the beds comfortable (really loved the abundance of fluffy pillows), and the food was DELICIOUS. We had breakfast and lunch there and both were quite good, with amazing views of the city from the top floor restaurant. The concierge was... More

Good concierge service. They actually cater to your needs. The Michelin star restaurant is to die for. And the views from the garden terrace on the roof is stunning. You will definitely enjoy good food. It is also close to main attractions such as the Spanish steps. Etc. Shopping area is also nearby

I stayed at the Hotel Eden with my wife for 4 nights in Mid August. This hotel is very luxurious with a service that matches. Upon check in we learnt that our stay had earnt us a complementary 3 course lunch at La Terrazza dell'Eden (Eden's own Michelin Starred Restaurant). This was a great addition to our stay. The staff... More

From the moment we arrived at the hotel in the 38 degree heat and were greeted by ice-cold water and wet flannels we knew we had made a wise choice of hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful-a special mention to the restaurant staff who made breakfast a pleasure-providing my daughter with fresh, warm chocolate croissants(much to her delight). The... This was our first trip to Italy and I wanted it to be a very special trip as it was an early celebration for my husbands BIG birthday. I did a lot of research before booking The Eden and I was not disappointed in any shape or form. The location, near The Spanish Steps, is well documented and we were... More

One of our favorites. We've stayed here several times on our travels to Rome. Very elegant and chic hotel. Its in the upper tier of luxury hotels in Rome (along with Hassler, De Russie, Senato, Gran Melia). The location is in a quiet section of the city above the Spanish Steps and nearby Via Veneto. Its not quite the most... More

We came from Capri to Rome on our last two days of our vacation. We decided to stay in Rome mainly because my wife is a "true Shopper" and the sales were plentiful. We booked the Eden because of the excellent rating and close to the Spanish steps. No question this a five star hotel, great location, beautiful hotel, excellent... More

The service is excellent. While the rooms are expensive, the size and comfort of the room along with the professional service exceeded expectations. We were treated to a plate of cookies every afternoon and fruit on the day we arrived.

Was not my first choice but as the Hassler was fully booked, settled for the Eden and had a very good stay. After the disaster that is currently Rome's FCO airport where the bags took longer to arrive than our flight had taken from Munich, we were warmly welcomed by an enthusiastic reception staff. We were impressed by the comfortable... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
