We had the Seminario suite for 12 days in Rome. Every morning we walked outside to see the Pantheon. Every evening we gazed upon the gorgeous renaissance fresco on our ceiling. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The rooms were large and had a wonderful European feel with winding hallways and small staircases and a grand staircase to the lobby.... More

Situated next to the Pantheon, The Albergo del Senato is in the ideal location, walking distance to many of Rome's ancient sites. The front desk and staff care that your experience is the best in Rome by recommending the best restaurants and shops in the city! Will definitely stay here again in future Rome trips!

We stayed here for 3 nights (would liked to have stayed many more), it really is a wonderful hotel with genuinely attentive staff. The location, well suffice to say our room was overlooking the Pantheon, in the evening you could leave the window open and listen to the buskers (anything from Pink Floyd to Puccini). Try the Lindt shop for... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on our first trip to Rome. Trip advisor reviews were very accurate in all ways about the hotel and staff being great. When you look at the pictures of the hotel we were given the room with the balcony shown in the picture and had a great time standing out there (no... More

We stayed at the Albergo Del Senato hotel for my husbands 30th Birthday. We booked a double room but we were upgraded to a lovely room with an amazing view of the Pantheon! The staff are wonderful, the hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, pastries, roll, fresh meat, cheese, yogurt, cerial, bacon and egg. I... More

Next time I am in Rome I will be staying here. I love the location and the staff is very accommodating. Very attentive, and they offer you suggestions to put you at ease because Rome can be intimidating. You can walk to the Colosseum, Tervi Fountain, and even the Vatican if you are energetic. There is a taxi stand right... More

We originally stayed here for three nights in 2012 and have had very fond memories since. This visit was a four night stay and Albergo del Senato was the only hotel we considered booking there months in advance. Every member of staff is friendly and personable, and are very welcoming indeed. Even cleaning staff go out of there way to... More

Very lovely hotel located just in front of the Pantheon. Very near to Fontana de Trevi 5 mins away. Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps is only 8 mins away. Via del corso is only few mins away. Loads of nice restaurant around. The staff are very helpful.

Had a wonderful stay here with my husband and baby. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. When we arrived around 7am and our room wasn't ready, they went out of their way to find us a place to rest until our room was clean. This was very much appreciated. We stayed in the penthouse suite and thoroughly enjoyed it.... More

Highly recommend. The location is perfect, in the square with the Pantheon and within walking distance of main attractions as well as a taxi stand. The hotel is well insulated which provided a good quiet night of sleep. The staff is extremely friendly and hotel very clean. We were placed in a family suite. The beds and pillows were comfortable... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
