I stayed at this hotel with my son in November this year and it was an amazing experience. I paid the extra money to have a Pantheon view room and it was well worth it. The reception staff were efficient and friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was small but had everything we needed with space in a walk... More

We stayed at this Hotel at the end of our European Vacation. The central location was perfect for seeing all of the sites in Roma. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated and the front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming. All of my e-mail inquiries were answered promptly and helped a lot. We got the best room located on the top... More

If you want to be able to wander out of your hotel and be in front of the Pantheon, this place is for you. The rooms our party had were clean and smart, although a little jaded, but the very friendly staff made up for this. Breakfast was pleasant rather than outstanding. All in all though we'll certainly stay again.

Stayed on a Friday night while in Rome. It is located right beside The Pantheon. Plenty of restaurants all around the square. Taxi rank just beside Pantheon and temple Adriano behind the hotel. Rooms and bathroom were very good. Bed comfortable. Great location 5 mins walk from main shopping streets. Recommended.

We recently stayed 2 nights at this lovely, small hotel. It is in a spectacular location, right next to the Pantheon. Easy to walk to the historic sites in Rome. The room was nice, clean, bed comfortable and the view to die for. We were so lucky to be put in the room with the balcony. What a treat! The... More

We stayed here for the second time ( 4days). Hotel is located 50 m from Pantheon and the location couldn´t be better. We had a room on the fourth floor overlooking Pantheon and the Piazza. Could almost reach out and touch Pantheon. Nice room (normal size for Europe) with minibar, free wifi and water cooker etc. We had fantastic weather... More

We had a room on the second floor overlooking the Pantheon. This is the definitive "room with a view" for sure, overlooking the best preserved building of ancient Rome and an amazing square filled with people enjoying themselves. Visiting the Pantheon early in the morning before the crowds appear is a special treat. Attending mass on Sunday morning at 10:30... More

2 couples spent 3 nights in December. Location for exploring Rome is excellent. Everything is walkable - Trevi Fountain, Spanish Stairs, Vatican Museums, Colosseum, Capuchin Crypt. Expect to do a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. Location is about a 40 minute taxi ride (we paid $55 euros for 4 people) - longer if there is traffic. Hotel was... More

Beautiful small hotel. We were met at Reception by Mauro. He was welcoming and informative. We had a lovely room with a double aspect view, the most interesting being out onto the Pantheon. This is a perfect location especially if you like walking to all the many historic sights. However, there is a nearby taxi rank if you do need... More

When we select a place to stay while traveling, the very first thing we look for is location & Albergo del Senato is in the perfect spot to insure easy walks to just about anywhere in Rome. Of course, there are other considerations....that the accommodations have a certain ambiance, good service, and perhaps some other amenities...so let me assure you... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
