This hotel is simply fantastic. Yes the location is absolutely perfect for exploring Rome on foot but the staff are out of this world. Located right beside the Pantheon you can walk to all the sites in minutes. The breakfast is good and the bar ok. What makes this hotel special is the staff. From check in to check out... More

This was our first trip to Rome, so we relied on the Trip Advisor reviews. We selected Albergo del Senato and could not have been more pleased. The location is fabulous next to the Pantheon and a very short walk to Piazza Navona. Resturants, shops and historical sites are within a reasonable walk. The rooms are relatively small but adequate... More

I did a lot of research ahead of time to find the right hotel in Rome for our Anniversary. I wanted a hotel with character, not a Hilton chain type place. I wanted a hotel with a view of something. It should be located central so we could walk to everything. And the price should be fair. I landed on... More

No faults, gripes, complaints or issues. All staff are friendly approachable and helpful. This hotel is the complete deal how hoteling should be. Would recommend to all, without hesitation would stay again. Clean, secure, modern and next to the Pantheon. Only a maximum 20 mins walk from everything.

Great hotel and fabulous location. Can be noise from the piazza but had no sleeping problems. Breakfast was lovely and hotel is very clean. Cannot say enough good things about the entire staff. Alessandra went out of her way, stepping outside, to help me get rid of a persistent street vendor. Mauro was extremely helpful with all our questions (about... More

found this hotel from reading some reviews and I must give it a ten out of ten for both te hotel service and location. The staff were unbelievable friendly by giving us guidance on moving around Rome, booking taxis and even gave us a complimenary bottle of champagne for my birthday (thank you so much Mauro). All the staffs always... More

This beautiful hotel, right on the piazza was excellent in every way. The reception staff Alessandra, Luca and Mauro were so welcoming and extremely helpful advising us and helping us book appropriate tours from this Central location. From our spacious , well decorated room we overlooked the 2000 year old Parthenon and piazza with all its activities , busking musicians... More

This is a lovely small hotel near the city center. We had excellent service and a nice room. The front desk staff went out of their way to help us and make sure we knew where we were going and offered suggestions for dinner in the area. Very pleased with the comfort of the room and the beds. Nice bathroom... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in March and the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a traditional but modern style and was clean and had everything you needed. Our room at the back was quiet with a balcony looking on to an indoor courtyard. Breakfast downstairs had a good range of cereal, cold meats... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
