The location of this hotel is right in the heart of things in Rome. By upgrading to a deluxe room we were overlooking the piazza and the Pantheon. The piazza is filled with restaurants, and very talented street musicians attract crowds to hear them perform. We had front row seats from the balcony in our room. While we loved it,... More

We have been coming to this hotel for a few years now, having tried other, grander hotels in the past. It is comfortable and welcoming and has the most lovely atmosphere, a quality that is hard to define but must have to do with the fact that it run by people who seem to know what visitors want. Therefore there... More

lovely hotel, warm and comfortable, friendly people. Lots of small local "non-touristry" restaurants in the locale. Atmospheric ancient square at the door with lots of activity. We had a sixth floor room with balcony 😍Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would recommend this hotel highly.

Very nice hotel. Great rooms. Small, but great. And who goes to Rome just to hang out in the room the whole time? The breakfast was your usual free hotel breakfast. Nothing mind blowing. What is mind blowing in the location and THAT VIEW. Seriously, it's so cool to open your window and look at the Pantheon. You feel like... More

I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. The hotel was clean. The staff was eager to help. They even printed emails for me. I cannot say enough about the staff and the quality of the hotel. The location was excellent. The view was fantastic. Chocolates on our pillow at night. The room was modern and well appointed.... Of course we had a good stay at this property; doesn't everyone?....I took 1 star off above & its really not the hotel's fault at all but in all fairness, I think the time of year that we visited prevented us from enjoying some of the aspects of the property i.e. rooftop in particular. It rained tons when we were... More

The Albergo del Senato is an amazing hotel altogether. First off, as soon as we got out of the car, we looked to our right and saw the Pantheon, which is maybe 20 steps from the entrance of the hotel. First off, the service was great. We were given different recommendations for dinner options each night and when we returned... More

Our family stayed here in early January after our cruise, we couldn't have chosen a better hotel or location. It is so central, right next door to the Pantheon, with many restaurants and shops around. The hotel is gorgeous inside with that old world glamour. The staff were very nice and helpful. The sales were on & the man on... More

I have stayed here four times: in a superior room, twice in a senior suite and last May in a penthouse suite. The suites are very spacious and updated. The superior room was pretty snug. All of the rooms were quiet. Each had a view overlooking the Pantheon. I like this particular square and especially like it in the early... More

This hotel is right next to the Pantheon in Rome. We stayed there for five days over New Year and were able to walk to all of the main attractions (Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish Steps etc.) within half an hour. The staff were polite, welcoming and helpful. Our room (the Penthouse Suite) was spotlessly clean, reasonably spacious and characterful. The view... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
