Yes, the Albergo del Senato is first-rate. I've stayed there three times; all the praise is deserved. But this time, for the first time, its inner "centro storico" location seemed a minus, not a plus. For example, the small street that exits towards the Corso via the Trevi fountain was so choked with revelers we could't face the slog. Too... More

...utterly blissful stay..exceeded our expectations on every level ! It's in the most perfect location and the view from our room was wonderful with views of the Pantheon and the lovely square below. We had no issues with noise at all. Our room (306) was lovely and exceptionally clean.A/C was excellent. We had the hotel arrange a pick up from... More

Loved walking in, opening the windows and seeing the Patheon and watching all the action going on in the square. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The perfect hotel to take in the sounds and action of Rome!

This is our third stay at this beautiful hotel in under a year, so that probably says enough! The location is perfect and within walking distance of the all main sights in the city, although a taxi isn't expensive if you are tired or in a hurry. The area is wonderful - the view of the Pantheon from the front... More

Terrific receptionists (with good English) and service (anticipating your needs). Breakfast was fairly comprehensive (but bacon and egg side by side a concern for vegetarians). Rooms fine and well maintained. Rooftop bar exclusive and quiet with a good view. Lots of restaurants and great sites nearby.

Every aspect of our stay at this hotel was touched with hospitality, comfort and excellence. We took a room with a balcony overlooking the piazza and it was SO worthwhile. Looking down on the Pantheon and watching all of the incredible street scenes was a most remarkable experience. Our rooms were exceptional, beautifully furnished and impeccably designed. We walked nearly... More

From the moment we walked into the lobby, we knew this was going to be the perfect beginning to our fabulous trip to Italy. We were a group of 7 people, my husband & myself, my cousin and her 18 year old son & 16 year old daughter and a friend and her 18 year old daughter. We arrived at... More

My wife and I decided to travel through Italy for our honeymoon. We are both in our early 30's and from the NY/NJ area. We are very experienced travelers internationally, and also very much in tune with "what great looks like" when it comes to food, hospitality, amenities, and service. We came across this hotel initially on trip advisor and... More

Highly recommend this hotel. Perfect location. Close to everything. We were lucky enough to stay in room 204, a very special room directly overlooking the square and Pantheon with its own marble balcony. We spent a lot of time enjoying a glass of wine, watching the entertainment of the square below. We were thankful we had ear plugs with us... More
