I would definitely go again. We had a very pleasant stay, good price/quality. I suppose because it was low season we didn't have to share the bathroom with anyone, a nice surprise. 20min walk from the lovely Trastevere bar/restaurant area, but just far enough off the busiest areas. Tram, trains are close by, 10-15 EUR with a taxi from Vittoria.... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was very nice. The couple that run the B&B are so lovely and friendly. They called a taxi for us to the airport and made sure we had breakfast in time before we left. Wish them all the best. Thank you from Ireland!!

I needed a place to stay while working out near the airport, but I didn't want to stay in a soulless hotel miles from Rome itself. This B&B was a good compromise as it's easy to get into town (about 20 mins on the tram) and also to the airport (about 40 mins on the train). It's on a quiet... More

We were quite unsure what we'd got our selves in for when we arrived at parini house, as it's not the usual type of place we'd stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful and spoke good enough english for us to be able to communicate. The room was clean and spacious, however the shared bathroom smelled of cigarettes. The location... Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
