I've stayed for 4 nights in Alexis Hotel and I was pleasently surprised by the cleaning in rooms, the great service and the friendly staff. The location of the hotel is perfect. You can get almost anywhere by foot. You will find great family restaurants in the area as well.

Very good location - very close to Termini station (4-5 min walk); clean rooms and friendly staff and the receptionist was willing to give all the needed information. A good location to choose when in Rome!

My girlfriend and I fortunately found hotel alexis by chance after another hotel inexplicably cancelled our reservation without notifying us. It is in a great location with the termini metro station able to take you on both the A and B lines. The reception team was extremely helpful, even giving us a detailed 15 minute explanation of where to go... More

The hotel is perfectly placed a few minutes walk from the termini main bus and train station as well as airport-city shuttle center a few minutes walk from the piazza della republica and the Via Nazionale. A really good base to see the city from and very reasonably priced. We found the room to be basic and dated but very... More

There was an lovely restaurant straight across the road from the hotel, I would really recommend this restaurant. The breakfast in the hotel was very basic, tea/coffee, cereal and a croissant. Our TV didn't work but we weren't bothered as we... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
