I was lucky enough to stay in this hotel last week, and I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.We were picked up by Rome cabs with a fixed fair of 50 euro to the hotel which I think is very good value. On arrival at the hotel the bell boy opened our car door an moved... more

I just returned from the Rome Cavalieri. The decor is a little over the top at first, but after a while you get used to all of the art work in the lobby. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the city. We stayed on the 3rd floor, but we had a great view. definitely splurge and get a... more

Location was out of the way but the shuttle bus made things easy to get to . Housekeeping was a bit lacking and the turn down service was fair at best. Cafe staff did what they wanted when they wanted to do it and that was in 2 of their 4 cafes. was a great hotel but needs to fine... more

The hotel looks lackluster from the outside and be prepared to pay about 60 euro for a taxi from the airport. It is true that the hotel is far from the city center, but they do provide a free shuttle every hour. Travellers beware: the shuttle does not run during siesta and the last shuttle for Piazza Barberini leaves at... more

It's big, flashy and pricey, but we couldn't really fault our stay at the Hilton Cavalieri. Our room overlooked the city from the fourth floor and was spacious, clean, soundproofed and cool. Expect to spend quite a bit of money if you stay in the hotel itself. Room service prices were jaw-dropping. Twenty eight euros a pizza? Wash it down... more

We stayed for 4 nights. We booked the buy one night get one night free promotion with complimentary breakfast. We had the corner room on the 5th floor with partly good view of Rome.. not so bad. We got everything that we had hoped: spacious room for 3 persons, balcony, big bathroom and very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was... more

We spent three nights, using HHonors points, at the end of July while watching the FINA championships. The hotel is beautiful, as noted in other reviews. There is marble throughout the hotel, including in the rooms and bathrooms. The lobby area and lower level have a lot of paintings and other artforms, giving guests their own art museum. Being a... more

1. Very expensive bedroom for a nights sleep but nice. 2. Food and drinks are very expensive. A dinner will set you back a weeks wages. 3. Very nice shuttle service into Rome. We stayed her several times, always on HH points. We've also been to many other Conrad Hilton's around the world. This was clearly the most "out of... more

I took my wife to Rome for a special birthday and selected the Rome Cavalieri based on a deep experience with the Hilton brand and exhaustive search of previously written reviews by other travelers. I find it absolutely fascinating how different our experience was with the hotel than that of the previous reviewer. The previous statement is made knowing that... more

I've been lucky enough to stay at this hotel 3 times in the past - but this is the first time since the hotel rebranded to the Waldorf Astoria collection -the "premier" Hilton brand The design and location of the hotel means you run the lottery of a fantastic Rome view or a view of some telecommunications tower...I had the... more
