My self and my wife treated our selves to the executive club accommodation, very expensive but fantastic Rome view, marble bathroom canopeys all day, all you can drink from beer to champagne. Worth every penny. Rudolf ballet dancer jackets in the corridor ice machine. What a fantastic time. Free transport into town and the staff impeccably dressed as all Italians.... More

Visiting Europe with the family was a trip of a life time. I love Italy and Rome was fantastic. Our hotel was great we had 2 rooms and they were very large, central to everything and we loved living the life of the locals.

A great property built in the 1960s and recently renovated but retaining the best of the original design and architecture. Beautiful rooms, very clean and excellent service as you would expect from this chain. This property is very far from attractions which the hotel tries to overcome with a free shuttle that is infrequent and overcrowded. Terribly expensive meals although... More

Lovely hotel, lovely rooms, will stay again, but only when I've forgotten how they manage to charge for absolutely everything. They even charge for the sunbeds by the swimming pool; I am away at least once a month in hotels around the world and I've never paid for a sunbed by the pool. Very naughty of them

When I need to relax myself I always come here, because it is on the hill of Monte Mario and the traffic is far away. There is a superb spa where you can recharge your body, your mind and yourself at all. Fantastic breakfast! Unique Rome view from some rooms! Excellent food, good service and an interesting "tea time" service.... More

We unfortunately paid extra for a Rome view to get to the room and find out that the pool and some trees is about all we can see, we are on floor 3. We then wandered down to the fitness centre for a quick workout to find out it costs an additional €62 to use whether you are there half... More

The Rome Cavalieri is a very nice hotel. It is not in downtown Rome and requires a cab or use of the free shuttle bus to get into the main part of Rome. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. Be forewarned, the food and drinks are expensive. The gym, spa and pool are very nice but are... More

One to be missed I'm afraid, over priced Hilton extravagance at the poorest taste possible. We paid €250 for a one night stay with 'Vatican views' I only wish I'd taken a pair of binoculars to experience this. We arrived around 5pm and yet we were still expected to pay €18 each for use of the outdoor pool and loungers.... More

nice hotel but far from city centre. good for a holiday, especially for the local people, but not really convenient for the tourists. However, best quality hotel that I have stayed in Rome, much better the Westin and St. Regis.

Overlooking the panorama that has inspired visitors for centuries is Rome's most prestigious address – the Rome Cavalieri hotel. Though only minutes from the city's great monuments, the Rome Cavalieri has the tranquility of an oasis. Enclosed in fifteen acres of lush Mediterranean parklands, this luxury hotel is a calm retreat in the heart of the Eternal City, an elegant refuge where time slows and hearts quicken. The first hotel in Europe to be part of the exclusive Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, the Rome Cavalieri hotel is more than just a 5–star property. It's the pre-eminent luxury hotel in Rome, with an art collection that outshines many museums, a Grand Spa that would be the envy of a prestige health resort, and standards of luxury that set it apart from other Rome hotels.
