Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Danielle, Marina's brother, was very friendly, and genuinely interested in helping us find the best local restaurants, places to visit, pre-ordering tickets etc. He had just ordered a new coffee machine, which made really good coffee. We stayed in the room with an external bathroom, because we wanted a... More

We stayed for one night after a three week trip in Italy. The room was a reasonable size for the price, and well maintained. Marina was very helpful and friendly, and went out of her way to assist us. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Whilst there is double glazing and air conditioning, we did need to use ear plugs to... A friend and I spent eight days over New Year’s in this clean and friendly B&B in a neighbourhood within walking distance of the major sights. At the end of busy days, it was nice to make our way back “home” to a quieter place, though one with good restaurants and a bustling shopping street nearby. Marina, our host, was... More

This small b&b is siutated in a perfect area, Prati, close to the river, within walkingdistance everywhere. If your feet gets tired it´s easy to take the bus or the metro. Nice, clean, modern big room with a private bathroom just outside. Marina, the owner has thought of everthing, internet, airconditon, tv, comfy beds, minibar, great breakfast with toast, jam,... This is a nice, clean little bed and breakfast in a great location in Rome. Near everything (walking distance), but in a part of the city with real people in it, not just tourists. We were in the room with the bathroom (there's also a room with a separate bathroom). Both room and bathroom are small but adequate. Breakfast is... More

We started travelling again hence the late review. we were quite worried about our stay in Rome as it was our first visit there. Once we touched base with marina, her first email made us feel comfortable already. She always had a smile, told us the right places to visit and the times. helped us with airport transfers. everything. The... More

We so enjoyed our stay at Maribell last time that in April we decided to go and visit Rome once again. After a long and tedious winter Rome was a dream come true: lovely warm weather, a soft breeze, trees in flower and people delighted to be out and about. The weather was perfect for al fresco dining and when... More

Maribell B&B was a great place to stay in Rome. Located in the beautiful and safe Prati district we had easy access to everything we needed. The B&B itself is located just one block North of Via Cola di Rienzo, a great street for shopping and cafes. The Metro stop 'Lepanto' is a 5 minute walk from the B&B and... More

The location is excellent. The noise on Friday and Saturday evenings from the gelato below our window was terrible. This affected our stay because we were worn out because of lack of sleep. The noise didn't stop until after 1:30 am. Sunday evening was okay because the gelato closed earlier. The room was very clean and Mariana was very sweet.... More

My friend and I stayed there less than a week ago. Marina was very accommodating, I have Celiac's and she provided me with Gluten Free food for breakfast. The BnB is located across the canal about 5-10minute walk to the main area where all the sights are. It's a good place to stay if you wish to get away from... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
