Paid a little extra for a "Superior Room" we had a queen sized bed, TV, coffee station and a lovely bathroom. Fantastic location, round the corner from a lot of really nice restaurants and a fantastic ice cream parlour. Breakfast was in a different building a 5 minute walkaway, which was unexpected, but not a problem. The breakfast was a... More

We spent 5 lovely nights in this place. It is in a great area close to all main attractions. The room was really large and newly decorated. Very quiet. Like home from home. The rooms had a modern shower with 2 shower heads, safe and lockable wardrobes. It was a real find for us. This is really not a hotel... More

i come reguralrly to Rome for business and always choose some new place to sleep. This place is very good located close to Navona quare. This old house has also an elevator, that is very unusual in the centre of Rome. Rooms are deorated in an old style and they are very nice, even if my room was quite small.... More

Average rating is due to street noise - inside rooms are quieter. There is a night club across the small street that doesn't not open till 9pm or so and plays very loud Euro techno pop. Stays open till 2am on weekdays, 4am on weeknights. The patrons stand in the street to smoke and laugh. You get to hear everyone... More

We cannot begin to let you know about all the challenges there, we made a terrible mistake, please do not make our same mistake. Fantastic pictures of someone's room on the internet, definitely not ours, staff... what staff, location, yes close to Plaza Navonna and some very nice little restaurants. This is not a Four Star Hotel

Dear Ms H&V, We really apologize for the inconvenience occurred to you. Concerning the housemaid in charge at Navona Governo Vecchio, it was is second day working, so we suppose he was not accustomed to tidy up the rooms. For this reason we have already taken a disciplinary action. We would like to underlline that we are a guest house,... More

We booked this at the very last minute and it was the perfect location for seeing Rome - a few minutes from Piazza Navona and about 5 minutes to the Pantheon. The staff were great and kindly let us leave our bags several hours prior to checking in so we could explore. Our room was certainly eclectic, on the second... More

We stayed in this little hotel in September 2013. It's just a few rooms on the 5th floor (with brand new elevator) of an apartment building. There is essentially no sign and the rest of the building is just apartments. You won't really get much for interaction with hotel staff, so that can be a little tricky, but what little... More

We stayed at Navona Governo Vecchio for 3 nights from Jun 28 to Jul 1 2014 with 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 8. We stayed in room Angelica in the vicolo del Orso building. We chose this hotel based on location, air conditioning, and free wifi. The location was excellent - walking distance to all major attractions.... More

the location was great near navona vatican city and so on it's all by foot from the hotel to the vatican/shopping street via del corso, the breakfast was ok but i think they shouldn't put the breakfast in the corridor because it's a little bit uncomfortable, i stil prefer the breakfast at the central hotel at the 5th floor the service... Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
