Previous reviews have pointed toward the fact that the Imperial Suite is in fact not a hotel, but a kind of B&B with a twist. This is an accurate description. It is basically the fifth floor of a nice building, with a small reception area, a communal area and rooms around them. However, it was exactly what my brother and... More

I need to mention the property was presented to us by the agency as a hotel. The name of the property is also misleading so one may think it's a hotel. After the first day shock I can say that the location is decent, close to the public transportation to most attraction. Spanish steps are more like 25 min. and... More

I wonder why many people had expected a hotel, not a B&B. Maybe it depends on the booking site, because to us it was clear that we were not booking a hotel. The B&B is located in residential area close to Roma Termini train station. Don't expect big signs along the street - it is located inside a normal building,... More

The staff of imperial suites are very friendly and their aren't too many better places to start when trying to explore Rome on a budget. This hotel is however just that; a budget place to stay and you shouldn't expect the earth! If you are prepared to do a bit of walking or use the local bus then it's in... More

Imperial Suite is neither a hotel not even a guest house! located on the 7th floor of a building, seven rooms have been transformed into beautiful rooms to let-the rooms are small but modern with nice bathroom, comfortable beds-very clean but that's it!Since it's not a hotel, there are no public facilities like toilets , if you arrive before check in... This boutique hotel is basically a bunch of rooms on a floor of an apartment building. There is no lobby, per se, simply a desk by the entrance which serves as Reception, and a very small kitchen which is where the staff prepare breakfast. The rooms are nicely styled - modern, red decor, very clean, although there are obvious signs... More

Imperial Suite is no hotel, I thought it is a 4 Star Hotel but it is not. Anyways, Service was really good, they cared about us, they helped us find the right way, showed us where to eat, everything was fine. Room seems to be new, Bathroom good, but the bed was just ok... Room is loud, you can hear... More

Interesting place to stay for a weekend in Rome, top floor of an apartment block, rooms at the back nice and quiet from the road. Although the decor is modern (some light fittings not finished which seemed a bit odd) the noise travels from other rooms and reception so did have disturbed sleep most nights. Ensuite small but has everything... More
