We spent a prolonged weekend in Rome and enjoyed a freshly renovated, well-equipped and surprisingly spacious room with a whirlpool in the best area of the city. Paolo was a great host and he well organised our airport transfers under somewhat difficult circumstances (fire at Fiumicino T3, postponed return flight, etc.). A tip - better address Paolo directly by phone... More

We stayed in the town house for 3 nights and had a great stay. Emanuele told us all about good restaurants/bars/sights and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The room looked exactly like on the pictures and had everything we needed. It was a bit dark because it was headed to the small inner yard but that meant that... More

I've tried contacting them twice about an existing reservation through email (sent from two different accounts to alleviate the risk of being marked as spam), no answer. I called them on the landline they've listed in their website, no one bothers picking up the phone. Reluctantly called the mobile number they listed, and I got an Italian answering machine. This... Town House Spagna is an excellent hotel, located within walking distance to many of Rome's must-see sights. Emanuele is extremely helpful and attentive to customer needs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome.

Had a great stay at this place. The location was great and every attraction is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and good. Emmanuel has been really helpful and providing the best details around. Best of all this place is "connected" to Grano Cafe where u can get Italian food at great discounts. - Loy :)

What do you want in Rome? A plush hotel or just a very comfortable room with an excellent ensuite bathroom at a reasonable price. We though this was just right. There may be no one in reception but you can ask all the right questions on arrival and then you get 3 keys – for the street door, an inner... More

Be Advised: Townhouse Spagna is not a licensed hotel. It consists of rented private rooms located in a portion of the 1st floor of an old building-with the floors above being used as apartments for city residents. If we had known this, we never would have stayed here. The Townhouse Spagna website says the rooms are "completely soundproofed", yet we... More

Wow! What a wonderful surprise. My friend and I arrived and couldn't believe our luck! Such a gorgeous new room with beautiful new bathroom. Located perfectly in the centre of Rome. Very quiet at night once inside. Paolo was amazing. Couldn't have been more helpful if he tried!! Organised a really good deal for our transfer to the airport. I'll... More

What a perfect place to stay in Rome! We spent 4 nights at Town House Spagna and it really did make our holiday. We were greeted upon arrival and given very helpful information about Rome and recommendations of where to eat and visit. The room was fully air conditioned and modern and very comfortable. Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
