We spent 2 nights at Town House Spagna. Room "the Luxe" with shopping street view. Taxi on request for €50,-/. 30 to 45 min drive from Fiumicino. The taxi driver was waiting for us in the arrival/meeting area. Helpfull and friendly owner. The Room was very nice and clean. Facilities like bed, bathroom, fridge, tv, small safe are very good.... Probably the best situation in Rome for a visitor. The room was nice, except that the air-conditioning placed in the small internal yard was very noisy (economy price; not so in the more expensive range). the personnel, actually the owners are very friendly and helpful. Next time will go there agian. The hotel is small: much to our preference.

Two weeks ago we stayed at this place for two nights. It's a small cozy place,in the best part of the city center ,one step away from all the historical sights .The room we stayed in,was quite small, clean with modern design and all the necessary facilities. No view from the window and the entrance was quite complicating to find!(The main entrance on... The only word that can describe this little place is excellent.A real treasure located exactly at the perfect spot in Rome given that the moment you exit the palazzo you are exactly in the heart of Rome. Our flight was really early and I was anxious whether we would be able to check in on time because we were really sleepless.As... My fiance and I stayed here for three days (August 2013) and were pleased with Townhouse Spagna. We had a hard time finding the place initially because Via della Croce and two nearby streets were partially under construction/completely closed for what looked like a watermain break. I'm not sure the street being open would have made it easier to find... More

Good sized clean room, simple breakfast, great location and nice and quiet. The hotel did lack the presence of someone at the front desk so no one was on hand for tips or to check out. We tried organising a taxi transfer through the hotel, but ended up carting our suitcases down the bumpy road to a taxi depot.

Location and cleanness are the positive marks. The room we stayed at first floor was so small and had no view. Other rooms may be bigger. Another point is that there was no soundproof between our room and the next room. Most voices were so clear.

After reading some of the recent reviews, I almost feel as if I stayed in an alterantive universe. My wife and I spent 3 nights recently to begin a trip through Italy. The positive: As many have stated, location. On a vibrant commercial, but low vehicle traffic street, near the Spanish Steps and a Metro stop. Very clean and our... More
