It's fun entering the property into a huge courtyard and then going up in the tiny lift. The rooms are fresh and modern as are the bathrooms. A kettle, tea, coffee etc. are provided as a nice touch. Early enquiries about local restaurants were helpfully answered and the recommendations excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms cleaned... More

We returned here for a 3 night stay, it was just as good this time around. The staff are are really friendly & helpful. The location is perfect if you want to escape the frenetic city centre after a a day sightseeing. It is easy to get around and the local cafes and restaurants are very good. It's the nearest... We loved everything. Our luggage hasn't arrived with us due to the airline's problem. Livio (one of the owners of the B&B) did everthing in his power to make sure we get the luggage soon as possible. He mad calls to the Airline company and kept us updated with the status. We were so thankful fot these help. Marina who... More

We stayed 3 nights at this quaint B&B in late June. We arrived at the B&B later than expected due the vague directions given - next time we will bring a map! The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered us great suggestions for places to eat nearby (all highly rated on TA). We loved the area of Prati... More

Prompt professional replies to my initial emails, super helpful & friendly! We stayed for 2 nights prior to a cruise & loved this B&B. The room (2 x double beds) was spacious, well equipped & had a great outlook over a tree lined street. The neighbourhood was 'local', not touristy & we loved that! Plenty of restaurants to eat at... We contacted the B & B before our arrival regarding taxis, guided tours etc and the staff promptly replied with examples of tours to book and things to do. Early flight so on arrival while the room was just finished being cleaned Daniele pointed our restaurants , train station on the Map she gave us along with other information. The... More

We stayed here with some family and friends just before going on a Cruise. Even before we stayed all of the e-mail correspondence and booking procedure was really amazing. The B&B is situated very close to the Vatican so it makes and ideal base to explore that area. It was very clean and the rooms bright and airy. Simona welcomed... More

We loved the area around the hotel (nice houses & large trees, nice cafes & good restaurants). Moreover, you can explore the center by foot. The rooms were clean and functional (nothing special and individual). Since it is quiet, you can sleep well at nights. I think that it is an advantage not having breakfast included because you will find... More

After returning this past May to a Peace of Rome for another visit at this simply perfect-for-us B&B, we again must sing its praises. When in Rome, we stay either here or at the sister establishment, A View of Rome. Daniele, Livio and Simona are responsible for operating these accommodations in a way that meets the highest standards for rooms... More

My family has stayed at a Peace of Rome twice: once in 2013 and once in 2015. The entire staff is excellent: Daniele, Simona, and I forget the other person.. Bottom line is the staff is very responsive and attentive. The rooms are clean, in a great area close to the Vatican but far enough away that you feel like... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
