Very nice and central little B&B with a friendly proprietor. + Located in Feet-distance to the Train-Station, Colosseum, Forum Imperiali .. + Subway Station within 200 meter. + Room with all new IKEA furniture. Cleaning every day. + New Windows -> nearly silent, when closed - Breakfast only a coffee and a crossaint at the next cafe. ->

Great location, but that's about it! We struggled to find the accommodation, then when we finally found the doorway the lady showing us in couldn't speak English, not the best start! After a brief disagreement about already having paid, we were asked for our passports, which I refused to hand over. The room was so tiny there was no room... More

Because of its location and value L'Arco del Colosseo is a great place to stay during your stay in Rome. It's situated on a quite street, but really close to lively Via Cavour. The Termini train station is about 10 minutes walk from the apartments and the Colosseum is even closer — 7-10 minutes walk. The hostess was really nice... More

We stayed at L'Arco del Colosseo for four days on the final leg of a round trip taking in Sicily, Naples and Rome. It looked promising on the web site but on arrival the exterior is very run down and the stairway has broken windows. The cleaner who met us immediately demanded payment in full up front, no argument. The... More

This B&B promised much but sadly delivered little. A four day visit to Rome was the last phase of a trip that had already taken in Sicily and Naples. We chose this apartment primarily because of location (superb/central) and the photographs (deceiving). The exterior of the building looks very run down however having stayed for three weeks in Rome previously... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
