Our pleasant experience with Termini Gold started before we even arrived. I received an email with helpful tips about Rome, directions, maps etc. Nice touch! I agree with some of the reviewers that the B&b is not in the best part of Rome, however the location is super-convenient, as it's 5 minutes walk from the Manzoni Metro station, which caters... Alberto Ruggieri was wonderful , even before we arrived. He sent us directions and even new directions once we said we were arriving by bus. Termini Gold does not appear to be in the best section of town but we were treated to stay in the new Platinum addition, a few streets away. It is on a lovely, quiet street... More

We chose Termini Gold B&B because we could walk there from the train station (15-20 minutes). We could have chosen it for several other reasons, one of which is Alberto, the owner: A very nice, helpful man. Alberto insisted that he did not give recommendations for places to go or restaurants, but he did tell is to walk just 15... More

Myself and boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights. All of the great reviews on this site are very accurate. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, the coffee was amazing!! Alberto is a very friendly, easy going host. The rooms and bathroom were kept very clean. I would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone.

Me and my husband enjoyed the Summer Holds this July 2014 in Rome at B&b Termini Gold. It was a very comfy place to be and none the less Mr. Alberto was a very warm and pleasing host. The freshness and cleanliness maintained in this accommodation was worth mentioning. You are given access to good speed wifi and good coffee... More

My husband and I stayed at Termini Platinum for 4 nights in June 2014. We couldn't be happier with the room or the service we received from Alberto. We stayed in the Superior Double Room with en suite bathroom and were impressed by how clean, fresh, spacious, and modern it was. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We probably... More

We booked Termini Gold based on previous good reviews, and its location. We were not disappointed. Alberto made us very welcome from the moment we arrived, and kept in contact regularly to ensure that everything was ok. This B &B was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Its close proximity to the Manzoni Metro station made it very easy... More

Termini Gold is a 4 room BnB. It is located close to the Roma Termini station and is close to the colosseum (20mins walk). The neighbourhood isnt great but its safe and there r a couple of nice pizzerias close by. Theres also a gelato place couple of mins away which gives great ice cream at low prices (also is... More

My husband and I found Termini Gold B&B to be an awesome place to stay in Rome. Close enough to Termini station to allow for easy trundling of our suitcases and central to the heart of Rome so that we could walk everywhere to see the sights such as the Colosseum, the Forum, Trevi Fountain etc. Our room was quite... Overall positive experience. This is a nice, well kept 3 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor of an apartment building which has been converted for use as a b&b. It is decorated with nice, modern IKEA style furniture. Bed is a relatively comfortable large size bed. It was essentially two twin mattresses together on a day bed style frame. There... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
