I stayed here for 3 nights last week. Alberto was so accommodating; he made our experience in Rome convenient and comfortable. He waited up for us when our plane was late and helped to make sure we got our luggage back after the airline had lost it. The bathroom and room was so clean and spacious. Alberto was helpful and... Great place, very clean, owner very helpfull with everything you might need. There is set of towels, shower gel, daily service and standard sweet Italy breakfast. There is good Pizza just on the corner of same building. It's close to termini and all airport shuttle buses.

This B&B is has a good location, 10 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk the other way to another metro station. We walked to the train station at 4am and I didn't feel nervous walking in that location at that time. Now for the actual B&B. The building is very nice, an older building with... More

I stayed at Termini Gold over a year ago with my girlfriend and absolutely loved it. I have been meaning to write a review for this place for a long time and it should be a testament to how lovely a place it is that I'm writing this a year later. Alberto is an extremely welcoming man. Our plane and... More

Alberto Ruggieri knows what we tourists want, and delivers it ! I stayed at his Platinum B&B a block away from Manzoni Metro, in a quiet safe street, absolutely quiet at night, and very comfortable room with clean shower, and kitchen with large fridge, free wifi, supermarket two blocks away, and walking distance to Colosseum. I have stayed at many... More

Our pleasant experience with Termini Gold started before we even arrived. I received an email with helpful tips about Rome, directions, maps etc. Nice touch! I agree with some of the reviewers that the B&b is not in the best part of Rome, however the location is super-convenient, as it's 5 minutes walk from the Manzoni Metro station, which caters... Alberto Ruggieri was wonderful , even before we arrived. He sent us directions and even new directions once we said we were arriving by bus. Termini Gold does not appear to be in the best section of town but we were treated to stay in the new Platinum addition, a few streets away. It is on a lovely, quiet street... More

We chose Termini Gold B&B because we could walk there from the train station (15-20 minutes). We could have chosen it for several other reasons, one of which is Alberto, the owner: A very nice, helpful man. Alberto insisted that he did not give recommendations for places to go or restaurants, but he did tell is to walk just 15... More

Myself and boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights. All of the great reviews on this site are very accurate. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, the coffee was amazing!! Alberto is a very friendly, easy going host. The rooms and bathroom were kept very clean. I would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone.

Me and my husband enjoyed the Summer Holds this July 2014 in Rome at B&b Termini Gold. It was a very comfy place to be and none the less Mr. Alberto was a very warm and pleasing host. The freshness and cleanliness maintained in this accommodation was worth mentioning. You are given access to good speed wifi and good coffee... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
