As I had a 07:40 train from Rome's Tiburtina station, I wanted to be in the area. It is by no means the best area of Rome, I was fully aware of that. Most accommodation seems to be small B&B's in apartment blocks rather than traditional hotels with a street entrance and reception. I chose this based on reviews and... More

It was a good time in Rome. I was enjoying a staying in B&B Alba Domus. There were really friendly and helpfully stuff. Breakfasts were good. A room was tidy. There were clean towels and fresh linens every day. It was really cute seeing croissants and tea in our early breakfast. The hotel close to metro station and train station.... More

A very small room 6 floors up in an apartment block. Noisy and only 2 old lifts that don't work if doors are left open! Also had to ring owner when arrived and had to wait to be let in. Would not recommend!

it's based on Tiburtina, which is not that far from Termini, but there were nothing special around that place to eat, have a coffee, or some convenient stores. Many beggars around there.. but not that dangerous. The owner of Alba Domus was really hard to contact. Even though I need some help using the internet, I had to wait for... More

One word of caution first: if a B&B on the 6th floor of an apartment building in a so-so, but safe, neighborhood scares you off, look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a delightful little B&B. Donatella takes great care of you with your breakfast served in the room, which had a private bathroom and balcony that was quite nice. It was... More

We stayed at Alba Domus for 3 nights during our visit in Rome. I really liked the place. There are only a few rooms rented out on the 6. floor. The owner is really friendly, you can tell her at what time you would like to have breakfast, and she prepares everything by the time you wake up. There is... More

We moved here because we couldn't stand the noise at where we originally stayed in Termini. We finally had a good night's sleep here and conveniently located near Tiburtina station where there's the bus station for long distance travel which suited us for our next stop into Siena. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The room was a lot... More
