Charming, comfortable, spotlessly clean & well located (particularly for Vatican & some fabulous restaurants). Breakfasts were tasty & substantial enough to satisfy my 17yr old son (which takes some doing). Very reasonably priced too, but I was moved to write my 1st review by Sandra the owner more than anything else. I haven't come across a kinder more helpful proprietor... More

I booked this room for my daughter who is traveling solo in Europe post college graduation. She stayed for just 2 nights (36 hrs) and was taking tours most of the time. She took a brief shower the first night and never had hot water again. She contacted the Owner who lived onsite and she came twice but speaks no... More

dear madame, we are sincerely thankful for your useful observations. We would like to point out that your daugther stayed in a large suite consisting of two lovely rooms and we regret that she had discomfort with the hot water system of its bathroom. We are indeed aware of its limits: actually it is the only one of our home... More

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and quiet. It felt like a little haven when we returned from our long days sightseeing. Sandra was a lovely hostess, providing breakfast each morning in the little courtyard at the time that best suited us (tea, cappuccino, bread, jams, juice and yogurt) and allowing us to store our luggage on our last... I stayed for a couple nights in June..... Extremely hot in Rome, comfortable in this little oasis. Sandra was lovely (and found me a fan when I was a bit concerned about mosquitoes, which were not really a problem), made a beautiful breakfast in the sweet courtyard, and was happy to humor me in my attempts at the language. Great... More

Sandra is a wonderful hostess, offering quirky and comfortable rooms facing into a quiet courtyard. She also provides a great breakfast every morning, with awesome coffee and delicious eggs and baked goods. Location is also great, on a quiet stylish street in the Prato, a few blocks from the Vatican, and only a twenty minute walk into the historical centre.... More

The central location and decor made this one of our favorite B&B's. An easy walk to the Vatican and the metro. Our hostess Sandra was very helpful in providing directions and recommendations to local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

I spent there a few days. It was great! You wake up and you find yourself in the center of the eternal city. You are straight in the Vatican area. Rooms are modern and smart and the service is excellent.

We stayed 3 nights in December wit our 11 month old son. We had a big room with a seating area and it still fitted his bed. The room we stayed in was light, clean and nicely decorated. Outside the room is flowers and spices in big pots, really pretty! Sandra treated us and our son like family and was... More

Two nights in June. Beautiful room worth spending a day napping in. In-room tea and kettle, as much breakfast as I could eat, and Sandra just makes you feel special every time she's around. I stayed in downtown Rome (for 3x the price) prior to this and the 15 min walk from di Luz is easy, beautiful, and well worth... More

We enjoyed our stay, with a question mark about value for money. The guesthouse consists of three rooms located in a beautiful and peaceful courtyard. Ours was simply but tastefully furnished, with an artistic touch. As we were on our honeymoon, we were welcomed with a bottle of Italian sparkling wine, which was nice. Breakfast is served in the room.... More
