I stayed there in the 2nd week of Sept. The location is great (within a walking distance from Trastevere Rome), also to the city centre. I suggest to call the hotel to arrange a deal with the owner directly.

Nice little hotel with clean rooms, excellant breakfast with fresh juices and warm bread. Free entrance, which was important for my daughter and me, because we wanted to experience as much of Rome as possible, Also, very friendly owner and in one word - very pleasant stay.

Nice staff, nice room but no sign for it when you go in (it is in an apartment block) which made us frustrated when we arrived in the middle of the night after 4 hours on the train. Staff is very nice and helpful. Great location.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a pleasant time. Roberto, the manager, was extremly friendly and very helpful. We had a superior room with balcony, the room was quite small, as expected in a city like Rome. The room had tv with some english channels, AC, and a frigde. Cleaning was good and the service great. Only downside is... More

This is actually more like a bed and breakfast in a building with condos. Pay attention on the web site for instructions on how to enter the building when you first arrive. The owner is fantastic and very helpful. Less than two blocks to a main route with buses and the #8 tram, which can take you to the ancient... More

We've been here 4 years ago and I wrote a review which seem have been deleted (?) Simple place, nothing fency but good location (free parking in the streets if you find a free place) - breakfast as everywhere in Italy: plastic packed cakes, cookies and capucchino.... 2009 limited Wifi accesss (connection broke) What really drove me nuts was that... To sum up in a few words the very unfortunate experience that we have recently had at Caligola resort in Rome: - we were "welcomed" by a person that did not know not even 3 words in English; - the room that we booked apparently was not available until 6 PM (it was 12 AM) due to water problems, but... The name is a misnomer, it is not a 'resort', not even a hotel. Directions to the place are vague, taxi driver had difficulty finding it, as there are no visible signage outside the 'hotel'. Well, it is just 5 room BB place inside an apartment building. The entry is restricted and one has to meddle with three sets of... More

Once you get used to the tram stops, where to alight etc., the hotel is in a reasonably convenient location. Rooms clean & comfortable, but there were some shortages, such as towels (not enough & rather thin), and bread at breakfast (not always fresh) was rationed. Staff were generally pleasant & friendly however. This came on a deal, and as... More

The owner promotes this guesthouse as 4* Hotel and calls it Resort, Residence, Pensione. The latter matches best!! Actually this is a former flat in a huge 1980ies apartement block converted to 5 double rooms with bathroom ensuite. The decor is simple but decent, everything worked fine even the hydromassage shower with radio build in (who needs that?). The owner... More
