This was one of the hippest hotels we've been to, impressive lobby and restaurant interiors. The staff is very friendly & helpful when you ask about tourist spots. Breakfast was simple but nice with a decent spread of choices like eggs, bacon, bread, cheese and sweets. The room was nice although small. The problem was that hours after we checked... More

We enjoyed our stay here the room was very clean and extremely modern and the buffet breakfast was awesome. We found the desk staff helpful in resolving a pre booked tour issue we had. They even prepared a breakfast box for us as we were going to miss our buffet breakfast due to an early morning departure from the hotel.... More

I booked this hotel via Hotels.com because I needed another night's stay and the hotel I had been staying at around the block (Hotel Donna Laura Palace) wanted an additional 300 Euro for the extra night above the per night price I had been paying. Thank goodness!!!! Because it gave me the opportunity to stay at the Metropolis which was... More

This hotel was in the business district and was quiet. It was too far from the tourist attractions meaning numerous taxi rides. Close to the Vatican however. It is a 2010 hotel, very modern and minimalist which was not what I'm looking for as a tourist to Rome. Skip the dinner there but the included breakfast is excellent. Some of... More

Hotel Metropolis is a modern decorated hotel located within walking distance to the Vatican and metro station. The neighborhood itself is quiet, safe and clean with some good local restaurants. The lobby itself is small which is normal for a renovated building in this part of the world, but it is not cramped. You turn right into a hallway to... More

I chose this hotel because it appeared to be close to the Vatican which would make it easy for an early morning start, but it's also only 5 minutes from Metro Line A, so even though its a bit far out for all the main sights the metro makes it all accessible. As it is out of the main tourist... More

It is a modern hotel in a beautiful building. We had a room at the end of the hall. Itshould , clean, also modern, a bit small for three people. But when you're in Rome you need to spend al your time outdoors. There is so much to see. You can buy a Roma Pass. Which includes entrees for a... More

Stayed 5 nights, indeed still here at moment. Location is good near metro and to river, staff v helpful rooms basic but comfortable,it is good value for money. But here is annoying downside, no tea or coffee facilities at all in room, which not good but even if the case then should have room service 24 hours, and not shut at... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a standard double room, the bathroom is small but perfectly formed. Spotlessly clean. It is a 15 minute walk to the Vatican Museum, we bought a hop on hop off bus ticket at the hotel , don't bother it is cheaper to get this at the bus pick ups, hotel charge... More
