My wife and I just spent four days in this boutique hotel. The location is perfect as you can walk to all the various monuments and places to see from there. The rooms are well designed. Breakfast is ok. They have a open bar policy in the afternoon, which is very nice after a full day of visits. A special... More

I was at a seminar at the university some meters away and I walked in off the street and took a room. Martina who is at the door in the morning was lovely and Silvia from the afternoon, a gem! Both speak many languages and have wonderful people skills! I told them that I would congratulate their supervisor on his... More

A delightful boutique hotel , lovely room with nice attention to detail. Great breakfasts and complimentary bar in the afternoon if you get time as so many things to see. Very helpful staff and an excellent location a minutes walk from Piazzo Navona. A great place to celebrate our silver wedding . Hope to go back soon.

We stayed for four nights in the Gigli D'Oro Suite in April. What a pleasant surprise to arrive at 8am and find your room ready, we were able to unpack, refresh and get on with the task of being tourists. The hotel itself is a converted townhouse with about 6 rooms, another room is set up as a breakfast area.... More

5 to 6 rooms created from a converted palazzo down a side street literally three minutes from the wonderful setting of Piazza Navona. We had a generously sized room looking onto Via dei Gigli d'Oro with double full length windows and narrow balconies. Perfectly equipped and a comfortable bed. The only gripe would be the insistence of the local authority... More

We stayed for 3 great nights in a Junior Suite which is a good size. The rooms are lovely and the staff very caring and full of advice. The breakfast is good and what you would expect in Italy. In the early evening before going for dinner we would have some complimentary wine and nibbles in the breakfast room which... More

We have just returned from our wonderful 6 night stay at the Gigli D'oro Suite in Rome. We were looking for a comfortable hotel close to all of Romes attractions and couldn't have found a nicer place to stay. This boutique hotel is located on a charming and quiet cobbled street only moments away from the Piazza Navona, 5 minutes... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in December 2014. We had a lovely stay. We were arriving in Rome around 9pm and even though reception closes at 8pm someone stayed back to welcome us in, they took care of our large and heavy luggage and stayed until our wifi passwords were working correctly. The lady at reception... More

Rome Hotel: Via de'Gigli d'Oro My wife and I spent three fabulous days at the Via de'Gigli d'Oro. I was never fan of going to Rome because of the stories I'd heard about traffic. However, my wife had just retired and my desire was to fulfill her desire to travel throughout Europe, including Rome. The Giglid'Oro exceeded our expectations. It... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
