The first look into the room seemed fantastic. Nice armoir, canopy bed, high tech bathroom, etc. But the a/c needed serviced and the fancy shower leaked all over the bathroom and was moldy. The main reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of breakfast. I'm aware of the ordinance that says B&B owners can't prepare food, but this food was... More

Walking distance from vantican city as well as metro. Situated in a quite residential area. Room comdition wasn't highly recommanded, becuase my wife hated it, especially the bathroom. b&b host was very frindly, he even went out to get some homemade tiramisu on our last day. but hey its rome, unless you want to spend tons of money, perfect for... This is my second visit to this property. We stayed in the Caravaggio room. It only has 3 rooms but is well run. They are all quiet and there is a choice of delicious fresh baked products for breakfast. It is run by Massimo who although doesn't speak much english is very helpful. Each room is well soundproofed so you... More

We usually stay privately in Rome, but stayed here to be close to the Vatican, where we were meeting a friend. It is fairly typical of this type of accommodation. Excellent location for the Vatican Museum, St Peter's, and Castel Sant'Angelo etc, being on the outside of the Vatican wall, a hundred metres or so from the entrance to the... More

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon for 4 nights. It was a lovely room, great (and safe) location, very clean, and Riccardo was very helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the Raffaello Room and it worked great for us. It has a private bathroom (small but sufficient and rather modern fixture). I would highly recommend this to... More

We greatly enjoyed our long week-end in Rome. Romantic Vatican B&B is in a very convenient position, really "Italian", clean, comfortable ... Massimo greeted us and was always at hand for any questions or help. The ice cream shop next door is one of the best in Rome! Perfect base for a long week-end or a longer stay. I can... More

We could not have been more pleased with Romantic Vatican Rome B&B for our one night stay in Roma...The name says it all - it is Romantic, it literally is across the street from the Vatican, it is located in Rome and it is a B&B! Upon arriving, Massimo welcomed us and showed us to our room (the Raffaello Room).... More

We stayed in the Rafaello suite, which comes with a private bathroom. Decently price for Rome, but it really is just a place to sleep. It's a European condo made into a B&B, so everything is tiny. To use the toilet, you have to adjust and have a leg under the counter. If you're a tall or big person, I... More

We visited this B&B during Ferragosto and I think the usual manager was on vacation. The room was beautiful and comfortable, but the sheets were not clean. However, you cannot beat the location just around the corner from the Vatican museum entrance. There was a small common breakfast room. There was a self-serve espresso machine that didn't work, so that... More

It was a hard decision, deciding whether to give this B&B a very good or an average rating. But Massimo was wonderful, so we can't call this stay average. On arrival Massimo showed us - a family of two adults and two teenagers - up to the Michelangelo suite, with two separate bedrooms. It was very spacious and had a... More
