I came in Rome alone for 4/5 days around new year. The B&B is very well located, metro very near by, colosseum 10 minutes walking.. I was in the small room, very good for someone traveling alone. The room was clean and quiet. Good advice given by host on arrival, I recommend to follow them, that's what I did and... More

Absolutely amazing place to stay at, the staff, Franchesco in particular were really helpful, always available to answer any questions we had, and also knew the surrounding area really well. He was able to direct us to all the best places to go for a meal nearby, in addition to providing great tips on places we should visit that you... More

This place is great. Not fussy, just basic, safe and comfortable. Great if like us we booked a cheap last minute trip and didn't want anything expensive or fussy. Could do with a little more storage space in the room and maybe a few blankets for the winter time, but felt very secure and we had keys to the apartment... More

The quality/price of this B&B was very good. The breakfast was rather limited, but with the price taken into account and the overall comments of breakfast in Italy, this was no concern. Arrival was very warm and loads of information towards sightseeing/food was given. The room had all the necessary facilities. Wifi connection was very good, which is always nice.... More

Good location and easy to find building. We walked from the terminal station. Easy to do. You do have to climb some stairs, I think it was 3 flights, but the room was clean, large with a comfortable bed. The staff was really nice to let us come early to drop off our bags and talked to us awhile about all... More

The staff was so caring and they helped us out so much, we really appreciated our stay with them. They even carried our bags up the stairs. The room and the bathroom were also very clean. They provided us with a map and told us places we couldn't miss and even recommended food locations. Would definitely recommend for anyone who... More

I already know my way around Rome so I know what the area south of the Termini is like: it's not Vaticano but it's not that bad. The place is in a residential building (which a lot of hotels are) that doesn't have an elevator, but this was not a problem - the receptionist insisted on carrying my heavy trolley... More

Although the rooms were small they had everything we needed for a family of 4. Most impressive was how the staff made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and well informed about the area, the restaurants, the museums and sights, and the local transportation. The staff were amazing and super friendly. They helped make this a fantastic experience for... More

I stayed 2 nights to take in the sights of Rome. From even beforw arrival Francesco had made sure I have all the information I need including getting to the place. I actually stayed at another place of theirs opposite the road which has a lift. The room was clean and comfy. I had booked a room knowing I will... More

It was one of the best service that I and my friends have received . Both the Francois's and Daniel were amazing in extending help , support and hospitality to make my stay more than comfortable . Infact , I had a booking on a wrong date, but they still WENT OUT OF THE WAY to accommodate me. Otherwise, would... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
