The property is beautiful and very well decorated. The rooms are super cosy and stylish. The lobby and common areas are small with nice design features. The bathroom is large with good shower and well equipped. Value for money is good too, considering other options in Rome. It's definitely a place to recommend. BUT, it may get a bit noisy... More

For those who haven't stayed or visited Travestere, then it's a great place to wander the streets, with no vehicles ( expect for a couple of deliver trucks only). It's full of great restaurants and boutique shops, and not a big walk into the heartland of Rome. The BdB Luxury Rooms are very nice, good size rooms and bathrooms, a... More

I really don't want to tell anyone how special this place is but....here goes: Modern tasteful room hidden yet in the center of everything...Just 3 separate rooms. Trastevere is always "Jumping with action" but here once in your room you are secluded and tranquil. Perfect amenities and if you are like me, you want to feel like it is your... More

Made our weekend away a memorable experience! Plenty of space with walk in wardrobe and stylish environment with high ceilings. The bathroom was modern and new, with plenty of room in the shower. Common area available for coffee and juice and a stylish confortable environment to retreat.

BDB Luxury Rooms in Trastevere is situated just next to Piazza Santa Maria in the heart of Trastevere. The location is suberb if You like the pulse and the noise from the streets. It´s also still, near to almost any attraction. It do get noisy at night with windows towards the narrow street below. We slept well, but You might... More

Fell in love with this place, it's become our"go to" every September when we're in Rome. In the heart of Trastevere, a small B&B style facility with just 3 rooms. We've stayed in Rafaello, but even the smallest room is a fairly comfortable size for Rome. This time we came with friends and got great use out of the common... More

My husband, daughter, and I stayed in the Michelangelo room and there was plenty of space for the the three of us. The bathroom is amazing- pack some bubble bath and make time for a soak in the huge bath. The apartment is presented in a very stylish manner and once you arrive through the door you soon forget the... More

There is no doubt that this accommodation has much to offer the tourist to Rome. Located in the very middle of a cafe and restaurant orientated area and walking distance to many tourist attractions as well as shopping in the Piazza Navona area. The staff are delightful and provide excellent assistance for all your needs. The rooms are well maintained... More

We stayed in the Raffaello room, this past June. The rooms are located in a 17th century building, but the facilities are modern and furnished beautifully. You will have to walk up two flights of steep stone steps to access two of the rooms... I think the other room is up another flight. They state this on their website so... More

We had the opportunity to stay in the Michelangelo room at BDB. The room was spacious with an excellent terrace. We spent many evenings on the terrace with a bottle of wine, winding down as the sun was setting. The location as a whole is perfect for what we were looking for with many restaurant and attraction locations near by.... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
