I stumbled upon Little Queen Suites when looking for a centrally located hotel for my daughter and I to spend 5 days in Rome. I chose the family suite as I thought it would give us some extra room. It was a wonderful find! Sylvia and Sergio were very welcoming and helpful. The room which turned out to be two... More

Since the name of the property includes the word 'suites' I was expecting a bigger room. Perhaps there are some, however, the one we got was not that big. The bathroom was very small and the room itself was adequate and very clean. It is an experience to stay there as you enter through large, mediaeval, green doors right off... More

Hotel location is close to everything. Very friendly and helpfull owners. We stayed at the suite in a sperate building which was very quite. For the amount of money per day the breakfast could have been richer. No reception after 16:00. No dedicated & safe place to leave your luggage after checking-out and before our late night flight.

The best location and the best hotel. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast and amazing rooms. Would stay here again !! Not easy to get in so wouldn't recommend for the over 50s. But great for young couples or small families

Absolutely loved his place. Sort of quirky entrance, through huge steel door and into another big gate but this sort of added to the character. Up a couple of flights of stairs to the accommodation . Charming hosts there to greet you, help you with location and give you a map and get you settled into the property. Rooms exactly... More

Enjoyed our stay in a very clean and well maintained part of the building located in the historic Jewish area of Rome. Wonderful selections for the continental breakfast offered each morning, eating on the beautiful terrace. Sergio and Vittorio were gracious hosts. Walking distance to many sights and close to Tiber river front. When booking this hotel note that Little... More

Three friends stayed in the suite with two adjoining rooms, each with en-suite bathroom. Perfect location for exploring Rome. Vittorio was a gracious host. He had great restaurant recommendations and seemed to pop up everywhere in the neighborhood. He had a way of exuding welcome. The high ceilinged rooms were big plus lovely and updated. We could sit in the... More

When the car pulled up outside the door we were all a little dumbstruck as it did not look at all inviting. This impression continued when we went in BUT up two short flights of marble stairs and we were in a different world. Very nice rooms (large for a city establishment) with en-suite and good view over the square... More

We stayed at the Suites Little Queen last fall for eight days with friends from England. It's right in the heart of historic Rome on Largo Torre Argentina where Julius Caesar was murdered. The suite has two bedrooms with separate bathrooms; no lounge but a lovely terrace is right outside the door for breakfast and evening drinks (bring your own... More

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
