I visited Rome with my Husband & another couple earlier this week. We all loved this hotel & would definitely stay here again, it is lovely & modern in a great location within walking distance of all the attractions. My husband & I stayed in room 408 which looks over the inner courtyard, it was clean, spacious & very quiet.... More

Completelly renovated, modern and clean, iQ Roma is close to the most interesting places in Roma so that you can on foot to visit many points of turistic interest there. Competent and pleasant staff. Very quiet and excellent brakfast. Fast and free wi-fi. I recommend.

The place is relatively cheap and central. The staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English and helped when I had issues. Easy to get to from the main station and a walk to the tube as well as some of the big attractions. The breakfast was amazing and had a large selection. One down side is that I was... More

This was a super nice hotel, in a good location. Our room was well decorated, clean and quiet. The air-conditioning didn't work as well as we would have liked, but they were in the process of updating while we were there. I was disappointed to find that there was a charge for the breakfast buffet, as there was no mention... More

I like practical, modern hotels that deliver on quality and value. This was hands down the best hotel we stayed during our Rome-Sorrento-Florence-Venice trip. The hotel is well managed and it shows. I noticed attention to detail in everything they do. The hotel is modern, practical, and clean. The staff was for the most part friendly and helpful. The bathroom... More

Very easy to reach, great quiet location, next to nice restaurants and a walk from the Colisseum. The room was not too big but very clean, comfortable and everything in it was of great quality. I loved the big balcony with big doors that made me feel as if it was just another part of the room. The bed was... More

My husband and I stayed at the IQ Roma hotel in late March for 3 nights. It was also close enough to the main train station which allowed us to walk to the hotel. The morning breakfast was good, the room was comfortable and the roof deck offered a nice relaxing atmosphere after a long day sight seeing. They had... More

It really was as what the other 2000 reviewers say..very value for money hotel! The location is relatively near - we love walking so it wasn't a problem for us, to trevi fountain would take 15-20 min walk with medium pace. The hotel was very new and very clean which was a must. The room size was very spacious as... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
