We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here. From the moment we first walked in the door we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable, as were the hotel amenities including the self service laundry and rooftop terrace (the alcohol drink machine is cool!). We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel each morning. Also want... More

This was a fantastic 4 star hotel in the centre of Rome. The room was large and modern and most importantly immaculate. Uniquely there are self service vending machines on all floors with snacks and drinks and a very cheap price compared to normal hotel prices. A full bottle of Soave was only €7 and was of very good quality.... More

First stop for our family vacation in June for 3 nights. Enjoyed the modern style and appreciated having one room to accommodate all 4 of us. IQ is very conveniently situated as a base. We opted to take a taxi most places and the front desk promptly called for us each time. Even though the rooftop terrace doesn't have much... More

When I booked the IQ Hotel I had quite limited expectations of Hotels in Rome based on reviews online. However after staying at the IQ Hotel it was way above what those expectations were. Firstly, the location is good. It is walkable to the main sites and is close to the subway for those sites further afield. It is also... More

We stayed here as a family of 4 for a sightseeing holiday. We thought it was in a fantastic location as it was just around the corner from the Termini station to get a bus or train and in walking distance for many sights, our favourites being the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Nearby are a great range of bars,... More

Great room that's very tidy and modern, albeit small. Can't fault receptionists who are very friendly and service has been great. Breakfast is also fine for a quick start to the day. Would come back again.

We chose the iQ on the basis of location, price and other travelers' reviews. We now will recommend it to others, and hope to stay there again. The hotel was spotless, comfortable and walking distance to many sights, to public transportation and Termini Station. Staff was friendly and VERY helpful, and they responded to requests {e.g., for extra pillows] immediately.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
