Hotel is fantastic. Rooms and bathrooms clean and spacious and comfortable. Wifi was fast and worked everywhere. Is less than 10 min walk to main train station (termini) which proved to be useful for day trip to Pompeii and also for getting to and from airport. Didn't have breakfast included but did pay for it and it was excellent everyday.... More

We were greeted warmly on arrival and were delighted to find we had been upgraded. The hotel is modern and clean and had the best breakfast selection we experienced in Italy. Great to have a laundry on site as we had been travelling a while. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and modern. Good location for shopping, but requires metro or longish hike to the forum, colisseo, main museums. I admit I found it especially annoying that coffee is unattainable in the morning. There are some vending machines, extremely complex dispensers of Italian style sludge. Tourists should be aware that (harmless) homeless people sleep practically on the doorstep of the... More

IQ Hotel is a modern centrally located hotel that has a cool rooftop space. The breakfast is included, as well as wifi. The food from the buffer was great! The rooms are updated and clean. The staff is very attentive. IQ is everything that you need after a long day of sightseeing!!

This was our first time traveling to Italy, and the staff at IQ Hotel made us feel super welcomed! The WHOLE staff is extremely nice and very helpful in giving us directions to different spots and restaurants! The breakfast buffet is delicious too! When we first arrived, we were greeted by the hilarious Nicolai!! He made us laugh and we... More

I don't usually write reviews (although I always read them before visiting anywhere!) but I felt compelled to write about this place. Whoever came up with this hotel concept deserves a medal. Absolute genius. Everything you need, when you want it. Highly recommend this place. It's really central too.

This was my first stay at this hotel, but my second time in Rome. The hotel has a terrific location close to 2 metro stations. The Termini station is about a 10 minute walk, which has also the bus terminal. The personnel at the hotel speak fluent English, so we had no problems talking to them. There were very friendly... In the middle of December 2015 my wife and I had a 2 night stay at the 4 Star , reasonably priced iQ Hotel Roma, via Firenze 8, Rome. A great location about 100metres from Via Nazionale, close to shopping, railway ,restaurants, ( we dined several times at an Irish Pub, the Flann O'Brien, in Via Nazionale ). We were... More

Modern hotel closely located to the Spanish steps (<15 minutes) and Fontana di Trevi (15 minutes). Clean, staff is very hospitable and accommodating. Breakfast is rich and diversified, WiFi works well throughout the entire hotel. Decent prices - highly recommended

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
