We stayed here three nights in a standard double room (not a small). Room was lovely and clean, perfect size for us with a little balcony overlooking via firenze and the front of the Opera house. Bathroom was modern and again spotless with a lovely deep wide bath which was nice after lots of walking. Hotel was all we wanted... More

This is a nice modern hotel in Rome, which is a difficult place to find a nice hotel in for anything approaching a reasonable price. The IQ is still not exactly cheap, but it certainly was the best balance of quality against price which we could find for a five night stay in Rome. The hotel is in an excellent... More

I really enjoyed my stay at IQ! The hotel was modern, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions and recommending restaurants. The hotel is a short walk to termini (main train station) and restaurants/shopping. I also enjoyed the vending machines for wine, snacks, coffee, forgotten items. Don't forget to take advantage... We booked this hotel based on the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were certainly not disappointed! The hotel is a short walk from the central train station and shopping strip and restaurants. The staff at check in were welcoming and friendly and gave us a great introduction (and directions) to the various facilities in the hotel. These included a breakfast... More

If you are looking for a more modern European Hotel, this is the perfect place. My cousin and I stayed here for 4 nights. This hotel is located in the city center near Termini (bus, metro, and train) so it was very easy to get around. We basically took the train from the airport to Termini and were able to... More

Good hotel in a good location. You can pay 10 euro and have breakfast inhouse or buy groceries and store in the fridge in yr room...which is what we did. We then had our coffee and pastry at a bar near our morning destination. The in-house breakfast was good. Lots of options including cereal, fruit, yogurt, Eggs, bacon, mushrooms etc,... More

iQ Hotel is a very nice choice to stay, located centrally in Rome and very close to Termini Central train station. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I had a nice upgrade to a room with a balcony which was nice to let the door open for fresh air as it was quite warm! This hotel is very good for... More

Hi All, I stayed at the IQ Hotel Rome in August 2014. I stayed here for a weekend break and was amazed by this hotel. To start with we got the train from the airport to Roma Termini which was only 30 minutes. Once we got out the station we did not know where we was going so we went... More

I enjoy very much my staying in such a modern style and brand new hotel. Every thing was excellent, stuff, room, location - walking from Termini train station, from buses to the center and from Metro. Many free facilities like cups and hot water and internnet . Excellent breakfast (and just for 10 Euros-not includes taxes).

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
