My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in September 2014. I loved this hotel. I like modern hotels so this was perfect compared to what else was offered at a similar price. We walked here from the Termini where we took the train from the airport. It was a nice short walk. When we checked in we were... More

The IQ is a very clean and modern hotel. The rooms are a very good size as are the bathrooms. Most of the major attractions can be walked to in under half an hour and there are a number of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and helped whenever possible. I would certainly consider... More

Stayed for two nights here. Hotel is spotless. Bed very comfortable. Great power shower. Breakfast was fantastic... Great variety to choose from. We wrapped up some pastries and fruit from breakfast and ate them for a light lunch when touring the city. Staff recommended nice restaurant. Didn't want to leave this hotel...will definitely be returning.

We are not long back from a 3 night stay here. The location could have been a little bit better, it was almost an hours walk to the Vatican. We didn't mind walking as the weather good and dry, but if it had been raining it might have been a different story. It is very close to the main train... More

Lovely modern hotel, 5 mins walk from Termini, walking distance to the Colosseum, 5 mins to nearest Metro We had a triple room which was spacious with 2 showers and a bath. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
