Stayed here for three nights with our son and his family - they live in Italy near Venice, so we drove. Driving in Rome is not for the faint of heart, but iQ Hotel has a garage attached, a great asset in Rome. We parked the car and never needed it again until we left. The hotel was in a... More

Lovely hotel, just what we wanted. Clean, convenient, ideal. I especially like the "bar" vending machine and the kids enjoyed the playground on the roof. However, be prepared that once you step through the front door you could be in any city in any part of the world. If that's ok with you then go ahead and book. If you... More

Excellent hotel. Stayed here for x2 nights last week. Extremely clean hotel - in fact we never went down a corridor without meeting one of the housekeeping. / cleaning staff - any time day or night. Reception staff excellent as well - very helpful anytime we asked for any advice - nothing was too much trouble. Location brilliant - we... More

I spent a week at this hotel in April, I have to say I was happy with this pick, you fill your own mini fridge with whatever you like, a vending machine at almost every floor made it very convenient, hotel was very clean, security was great, only people with a hotel key card could come in, centrally located ,... Service - Great and efficient. Nothing to fault. They allowed us to check in early when the room became available. One night, I had to print some things and instead of making me use their business center and use money, they asked me to send them an email, so they can print free of charge. Service in Italy generally surpassed... More

I enjoyed staying in this hotel centrally located in Downtown Rome next to Theater. It is a 5 mn walk from Centrail rail station. Breakfast is nice and costs only EUR 10. Hotel staff is very friendly and supportive. Access to self laundry machines

This hotel is very convenient located, close to Termini Station and in walking distance to many attractions. You can't miss it, it doesn't look like a "Roman' hotel from the outside at all, but from the inside everything looks brand new. The rooms are a little small but you can find everything you need. there oom and bathroom are very... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
