In the centre of all tourist attractions. Beautiful room with excellent, most helpful staff. I could not find fault with this apartment. I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Rome on holiday.

If you plan on traveling to Rome and want to stay at a Hotel/B&B in the heart of Rome that is within walking distance of many of the ruins and major sights to be seen, then plan to stay at Residenza Gens Julia. Everything about this Residenza is top notch. When we first secured our reservations the Hotel Proprietor (Sergio)... More

From the street you can hardly find it but once we entered we were pleasantly surprised. The staff, Ernesto and Lito, were always pleasant and helpful and the manager also helped with suggestions for good, non-touristy restaurants. Our room overlooked the Largo di Torre Argentina and it was fun to watch the cats that live there. Our room was huge... More

This 5-room hotel was just perfect for us. It's on the 3rd floor of a building just 5 minutes on foot south of the Pantheon. You can walk to everything. The room and bathroom were very spacious and super clean. There is free wifi, a safe, a fridge, a hairdryer. and a/c. A bottle of water was provided each day... More

This wonderful hotel is in an amazing location in Largo di Torre Argentina near the centre of Rome. The room we had looked out onto the square where Julius Caesar was killed, so was very atmospheric. The room itself was very comfortable and the service we received was excellent. A very good place to stay.

This residenza was the BEST location! We were able to walk everywhere and if we needed something; ATM, cafe, taxi stand, bus stand, tabbaci shop for tickets, pharmacy, it was right outside our door. The rooms were large by European standards. Ernesto and Lito are available from breakfast time until well after midnight so someone is always available , but... More

Undoubtedly this is not one of the cheapest hotels around Rome (but honestly, are there any?), but the service was unbeatable. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ernesto, who immediately checked us in and gave us detailed directions on main tourist attractions before we even asked for it. Afterwards when we were ready to go the owner of the property... More

Maybe this is not the trendy location like by the Spanish steps or Trevi fountain, but having a view on some ancient temples ruins out of the window was pretty impressive to us. Plus we were really impressed with the service provided here! So attentive and kind! Thanks Ernesto and Sergio for everything! Room is clean and spacious, breakfast is... More

We are still talking about our wonderful visit to Rome in May 2013. The location is fabulous - close to everything. We walked all over Rome. Our room looked over the Largo Argentia ruins. The room was large and very comfortable. The Italian breakfast of coffee, juice, and roll was delivered to the room. . It had a refrigerator and... More

A charming boutique hotel in the historic center of Rome. Super clean, super convenient and quiet. My 82 year old mother and I arrived here in the evening after a loooong flight from Tokyo. How nice to be welcomed warmly by Ernesto! (and what a pleasant surprise to get Asian hospitality in Italy!) my fatigue melted away. He and the... More
