This apartment gets a one star for its size. The manager unfortunately ruined our stay here as attempted to double charge us (cash only of course) and then we battled for 3 days to get our money back on the days when he decided he could understand English. He refused to read our receipts from Expedia despite being written also... More

I usually have good luck finding a great value. This was not one. First of all, I was told there would be a shuttle at the airport to pick me up. There is no shuttle driver for this place, they just called a cab, who was an hour late after I called several times to figure out what was going... More

Great location. Perfect for the Vatican and authentic restaurants very close by. Expect just a room (large) with a fridge and you won't be disappointed. Shared kitchen but no proprietor on site. Breakfast left daily.

We were surprised the description of the hotel was not accurate. Marco had to meet us outside the Le Torri Mansion Block, but brought us to an apartment 2 blocks away. The website asked my credit card details, but upon arrival, Marco said, we have to pay by cash then and there and that the credit card details left was... More

This is an apartment in a mansion block overlooking the Vatican walls. You let yourself in and out and share the kitchen with possibly 2 other guests. Marco meets you at the gate and gives you amazing help. Our room had two single beds and a bathroom and dressing room separately - unusual but the view is great. Clean and... More

When we arrived at the apartment, we were left standing outside for an hour. Only for the fact that the people working in the cafe next to the apartment , rang the owner, we we would still be standing there now. The pictures on line of the apartment are very misleading. We were offered bed and breakfast as part of... More

We stayed here 3 nights before Christmas because the location, in the historical centre, near the Vatican walls, is very good for sightseeing and shopping. We arrived at 11.30pm and were looking for the right buzzer to ring at the gate, just as Marco appeared. We then walked through the gardens to the main entry of this residential block of... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. My siblings and I stayed at the B&B while my parents and aunt stayed at the holiday apartment. From my observation, the B&B looks clean. Upon closer inspection revealed stained bedsheets and not so clean towel. I also found pubic hair in the bath tub. Seriously. Before I retired to bed, I... More

We stayed in July for 2 nights. When we called on the day of our arrival we were sent to a different apartment on Candia street. The apartment is in a good location, very clean, well equipped kitchen and quiet (no view). On the other hand it did not have all the amneties advertised. Only 1 air-conditioner in the living-room... There were two reasons I deducted one star from this place. The first is because it is advertised as a B&B and IT IS NOT A B&B. It's an apartment in a residential block. It should not be advertised as a B&B in my opinion. Anyway, we arrived and were very confused when, at the address, was a just a... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
