This B & B is of a very high standard. The room itself was perfect with everything in it that your could want including tea and coffee making facilities. It is on the 6th Floor of the building so the view of St Peters was quite amazing. Waking up in the middle of the night and seeing the dome all... More

A View of Rome as the name suggests has a great elevated view of Rome and a stunning view of the dome of St Peter's Basilica. Daniele was a gracious host and offered invaluable information to help cut our waiting times to some of the "must-sees" and offered good recommendations for dining. He also told us what to look out... More

A View of Rome is the perfect B & B to see the sites of Rome. Well presented rooms just across the road from the Vatican City. Livio and the staff are perfect hosts and the rooms are well set out, comfortable. The Rif Cafe on the ground floor compliments the experience and if you want well priced food to... More

A very central,well-equipped b & b run in a very friendly and efficient manner by Livio and Daniele. They are a couple of charming ex-semi-pro footballers who understand the meaning of `service` and go out of their way to look after you and help in your Rome experiences.Great room with a view of the Basilica and overlooking the Piazza del Risorgimento... We stayed here 6 nights to explore Rome and it was excellent. The hosts Daniele, Livio and Phillipo were friendly and welcoming. They gave great advice about touring Rome and also made excellent scrambled eggs for breakfast! The location is great, including a stunning view of St Peters Basilica, close to public transport, shopping and restaurants. Wouldn't stay anywhere else... More

What expected was realised. We planned and it came through. Perfect combination of a good time and celebrations. With family and friends. Place chosen was the Collesseum and even with very low temperature happiness was full and final. Cheers. Knud

We knew as soon as we were greeted so warmly at the bottom of the stairs by Livio that we had picked the right place to stay! Our room was lovely with a wonderful view of St Peter's dome (beautiful at night) and had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. Breakfasts were good and Livio was always there and... More

Staff are really nice to introduce us the bus routes to sightseeing points and airport, good restaurants. Location is excellent. Good view to Vatican and the place is safe. The staff built trust among us. They definitely drove us to love the city and enjoy the trip.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
