What a wonderful time we had staying here. From the moment you arrive its all smiles and help from the staff. The B&B is spotless and very well maintained and the rooms are just perfect. The view from the room is awesome too. They took care of us in any way needed, expresso, sights to see, were to eat, even papal... More

We stayed here 6 nights to explore Rome and it was excellent. The hosts Daniele, Livio and Phillipo were friendly and welcoming. They gave great advice about touring Rome and also made excellent scrambled eggs for breakfast! The location is great, including a stunning view of St Peters Basilica, close to public transport, shopping and restaurants. Wouldn't stay anywhere else... More

What expected was realised. We planned and it came through. Perfect combination of a good time and celebrations. With family and friends. Place chosen was the Collesseum and even with very low temperature happiness was full and final. Cheers. Knud

We knew as soon as we were greeted so warmly at the bottom of the stairs by Livio that we had picked the right place to stay! Our room was lovely with a wonderful view of St Peter's dome (beautiful at night) and had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. Breakfasts were good and Livio was always there and... More

Staff are really nice to introduce us the bus routes to sightseeing points and airport, good restaurants. Location is excellent. Good view to Vatican and the place is safe. The staff built trust among us. They definitely drove us to love the city and enjoy the trip.

The night view of St. Peters is spectacular. The location is ideal whether you choose to explore rome by foot, bus or metro. The room and building were great and very comfortable. We got some great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. Everything was top notch.

My wife and I regret taking this long to make this review. We stayed here in the fall of 2011 and had a great stay. Livio had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of Vatican City. Unfortunately, while we were there my wife became ill and... More

This is a wonderful B&B next to the Vatican. The night view of St. Peter's dome is a sight to see. A very quiet room with comfortable bedding provided a good nights rest after a full day of sightseeing. Livio is an enthusiastic host sharing history and suggestions on sight seeing and transportation. Public transportation and walking makes visiting Rome... More

Olivio and the others who run A View/A Touch of Rome are very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable to plan daily activities and preferred ways to get to destinations. They have an excellent knowledge of local restaurants and where is the best shopping. "Antonio and the Antogonistas" loved the 200 year old elevators in this lovely apartment building a five minute... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
