We actually stayed at A Touch of Rome, sister B&B of A View of Rome but I didn't find it listed so am putting this review here. We found A Touch of Rome to be a great location, super convenient to the Vatican and right next to a taxi stop, which was important. We were there with two other couples... More

The staff is fabulous. The room was lovely. We had a great time in Rome. Very close to St. Peters and the Vatican Museum. Staff helped us get tickets as soon as we walked in the door. We did not have the breakfast at the B&B so we have nothing to say about the breaker except it looked good. The... More

Just spent a long weekend here with the family. The room was one of the largest we have had in Europe with a king and 2 singles. Easy walk from the Metro and close to St Peter's Square. Very Friendly staff and willing to assist with information. Book direct with the hotel for best rate.

Absolutely loved our 4 day stay, big clean room for 4 people, that is cleaned daily, excellent location close to the Vatican and public transport! The staff especially, Lourdes were amazing, gave us all the information to see the best of Rome, nothing was any trouble! Would highly recommend !

After a drive from Florence and negotiating Rome traffic, we double parked in front of the apartment and my wife went inside to check in. From there we received the most wonderful welcome from the delightful Daniel. He carried bags, helped sort out car parking, gave us heaps of great advice on places to eat, explained how to avoid queues... More

Right from the start of the booking process the service was excellent including a last minute addition to our booking, who was added without any hassle. The room was exceptionally clean with a fridge, Wifi and satellite TV which had English channels. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Our room easily accommodated a family... More

I had fab communications with the hotel before I arrived. I actually decided to take an earlier train to Rome and which would mean me arriving to the hotel around 2 hours then intended. Daniele replied immediately and I think it was him who greeted me. I stayed in the twin room with a bunk as I was travelling solo.... More

After reading the good reviews here of View of Rome, we were keen to book a stay. But as there wasn't available a family room there, we were offered instead an alternative stay at Touch of Rome (sister property) in the same building. No regrets at all - after the excellent service, location & room we got at the property!... More

The location could not be better. The view - amazing, however much money you pay you will not get a better view. The owner understood our needs perfectly and directed us to the most amazing non - tourist restaurants. We will be back. Ian

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
