Pros: Everything: Clean, Modern, and Quiet. The bed was very comfortable! It was perfect! Cons: Nothing Location: It was convenient to taxis and tours. We ate at two restaurants nearby, and both were very good. Also we felt safe in the building and its location. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and taken very good care of! Daniele... I can definitely recommend staying at View of Rome. We stayed there in July and it met all our needs. Simona was helpfull with places to visit and the BB was close to public transport. The BB has a big bedroom and modern bathroom. Breakfast was not included, but there is plenty of restaurants in the area. Will return!!

Location: 8/10. Yes, very good launching pad for Vatican City. Short walk to Metro. And the -- ahem -- "flexible" nature of Roma driving and traffic allows easy unofficial loading and unloading in front of the apartment. However, if your visit is centered to other sites beyond Vatican...... Old Rome and Colosseo districts might suit you better Breakfast is only... More

Dear Justarandomperson, thank you for your feedback and for the time you spent to write this review. We always welcome our guest’s feedbacks when we think that they may help us to do better. We were actually a bit surprised by the kind of review you wrote, which we didn’t really expect. Of course we are not so arrogant to... More

This is an excellent BnB, could not speak more highly of it. The room was extremely clean and spacious, with an incredible view of the entire Vatican City just outside our window. Beds were comfy and big, and the wifi and A/C worked well. The hosts made sure to tell us how to use the tv and how to switch... More

The view in the Picture out the window is real! Across the street from the Vatican, steps away from St Peter's Square well situated with A/C and comfortable beds. The staff, Daniele as manager, treated us like invited guests to his own home, he had even been married the same day and came to make our breakfast. Wish we had... More

Finally got around to writing a review. Please keep in mind this was the first B&B we had ever stayed in. We are usually at Fairmont and Hilton properties. Upon arriving we were greeted by a representative who did not speak English easily and our room was hot and small compared to other rooms we had had on our Europe... More

From booking to leaving, the owners and everyone concerned with the hotel have been great, advice as to where to eat, best way to get around, even how to tour the Vatican museum, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, its position is perfect for visiting Rome, the metro is a five minute walk, far to many restaurants to list... We only stayed here for one night whilst in Italy, though couldn't have been happier with our decision to book. In the face of it, I was apprehensive about what we would get for the price though we were pleasantly surprised. Once booked I had a personal email (not a generic template) from the hotel welcoming us and asking for... More

We had a wonderful tme in Rome, lots of it due to our stay at A View of Rome. The Vatican was just down the street, bus stop right out front and the Metro a few blocks away. Daniele was great in giving us information and places to eat, going to the Forum to get the tickets for the Coliseum... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
