The night view of St. Peters is spectacular. The location is ideal whether you choose to explore rome by foot, bus or metro. The room and building were great and very comfortable. We got some great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. Everything was top notch.

My wife and I regret taking this long to make this review. We stayed here in the fall of 2011 and had a great stay. Livio had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of Vatican City. Unfortunately, while we were there my wife became ill and... More

This is a wonderful B&B next to the Vatican. The night view of St. Peter's dome is a sight to see. A very quiet room with comfortable bedding provided a good nights rest after a full day of sightseeing. Livio is an enthusiastic host sharing history and suggestions on sight seeing and transportation. Public transportation and walking makes visiting Rome... More

Olivio and the others who run A View/A Touch of Rome are very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable to plan daily activities and preferred ways to get to destinations. They have an excellent knowledge of local restaurants and where is the best shopping. "Antonio and the Antogonistas" loved the 200 year old elevators in this lovely apartment building a five minute... More

Could not have picked a better place to stay in Rome, love love loved it. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, great Wi-Fi, unbelievably welcoming staff, livio is such a delight, nothing is to much. Helped me with my canceled flight bookings 2 days in a row due to air France strike. Maps out things to see and do in Rome... More

A View of Rome is a great place to stay! The wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor are well deserved. We had a lovely room that looked out on the dome of St. Peter's Basilica! What a thrill to see it lit up at night! Our room was very comfortable and clean. The B&B is close to many restaurants, shops, the... More

Before we even saw our room we were sold on this B&B. Daniele met us with smiles and offering cappuccinos, which were great. The room was spacious enough, clean, and of course the view from the 6th floor window of the Vatican and Dome, which are literally, across the street, these fellas are so accommodating and helpful, I don't know... The size of the rooms of this B&B are excellent for an inner city apartment and the view from our room was amazing. The pricing was incredibly reasonable for the location but the service is what sets A View of Rome apart. Daniele, Livio and Filipo were all very passionate about their business and very professional. We stepped out of... More

Just a perfect place for your first (second, third, whatever) trip to Rome. Stuff, location beside Vatican (not far from metro, bus stops and really comfortable direct bus to airport), rooms just couldn't be better (those with view to Vatican). We've been explained three times (by Simona when she met us in the late evening, by Daniele in the morning... More

Recently stayed at this B&B and I have to say it was fantastic value for money! It was in a brilliant location, was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again when I come back to Rome for sure!! Also the room had an amazing view and was air conditioned and had... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
