This is a really nice B&B just a few minutes from St Peter's and the Vatican museum. The rooms are located in an apartment buildning, so you are living with the locals. We stayed in one of the family rooms, and it was spacious and clean. What really makes this place excellent are the owners. Every morning at breakfast, we... More

So much to see so much beautiful so wonderful place. Expensive but it's worth it. Best way to travel is walking because Rome is compact everything is walking distance. I wouldn't take any transportation to go around unless you want to go Vatican City it will cost you 1.50 euro children under 11 years is free on metro.

We started out our 24 day trip to Italy with three nights in Rome, where we stayed at the View of Rome. Fantastic choice. The location couldn't be better - you are less than a block from the walls of the Vatican, with an awe inspiring view of the dome of Saint Peter's Basilica. Ludis checked us in and gave... More

I recently stayed here for 5 nights on my own, as my first trip to Rome. My experience was fantastic! When I arrived, I was greeted by Livio who was very kind and helpful. After checking me into the room, he sat down with me to show me a map of the city, taking time to markup the map with... More

My mom and I recently stayed here for a short trip to Rome. The location is perfect with a fantastic view of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Lourdes who sat down with us and a map. She showed us how to navigate Rome to all it's attractions and recommended places to eat.... More

This was our first trip to Rome but definitely not our last. We loved staying in the B&B and would stay there again. The location is fantastic just a stones throw away from St. Peter's with lots of trams and buses stopping in the square outside and the metro station just a short walk away. The rooms are everything you... More

This B & B is of a very high standard. The room itself was perfect with everything in it that your could want including tea and coffee making facilities. It is on the 6th Floor of the building so the view of St Peters was quite amazing. Waking up in the middle of the night and seeing the dome all... More

A View of Rome as the name suggests has a great elevated view of Rome and a stunning view of the dome of St Peter's Basilica. Daniele was a gracious host and offered invaluable information to help cut our waiting times to some of the "must-sees" and offered good recommendations for dining. He also told us what to look out... More

A View of Rome is the perfect B & B to see the sites of Rome. Well presented rooms just across the road from the Vatican City. Livio and the staff are perfect hosts and the rooms are well set out, comfortable. The Rif Cafe on the ground floor compliments the experience and if you want well priced food to... More

A very central,well-equipped b & b run in a very friendly and efficient manner by Livio and Daniele. They are a couple of charming ex-semi-pro footballers who understand the meaning of `service` and go out of their way to look after you and help in your Rome experiences.Great room with a view of the Basilica and overlooking the Piazza del Risorgimento... Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
