We only stayed here for one night whilst in Italy, though couldn't have been happier with our decision to book. In the face of it, I was apprehensive about what we would get for the price though we were pleasantly surprised. Once booked I had a personal email (not a generic template) from the hotel welcoming us and asking for... More

We had a wonderful tme in Rome, lots of it due to our stay at A View of Rome. The Vatican was just down the street, bus stop right out front and the Metro a few blocks away. Daniele was great in giving us information and places to eat, going to the Forum to get the tickets for the Coliseum... More

We absolutely loved our stay here. After an 8 hour delayed flight, we were greeted outside the building by staff so we knew we were in the right place! What a welcome! The staff continued to be friendly, helpful and very nice throughout our stay. The breakfast was good and made to order. Our room was very spacious with GOOD... More

This b&b was perfect for our Vatican trip. It was a small walk to the Vatican and there were shops and restaurants just next door including the best pizza and gelato shop in Rome. Daniele gave the most helpful tips which saved us time and money.

Daniele and his staff are so nice and super helpful. They contacted us immediately after booking to make sure we knew the best way to get there from the airport and treated us like old friends from the start. The location literally could not be closer to the Vatican unless you were staying inside the walls. They also helped us... More

After doing a lot of research on Trip Advisor we discovered a true gem of a Bed and Breakfast. A View of Rome was located just outside the walls of the Vatican and our window overlooked the St. Peter's Basilica, it felt like we could reach out and touch it we were so close. The rooms were very modern and... More

First of all - this is not exactly a B&B as breakfast was chargeable extra - 6 Euros a head, but not an issue for us as there are many local cafes where you can get a croissant and coffee near by. We stayed for one night and most conveniently located if you want to visit the St Peters and... More

When I booked the stay, I expected only to have a "basic" experience of any hotel, but our experience was anything but basic. After booking, I received an email from Simona with information about the hotel and transportation options. I kept in touch with her and arranged for a car to take us to and from the airport, which was... More

I'll start by saying I was having an AWFUL day when my husband & I arrived at A View of Rome. Everything had gone wrong that day & we even turned up at A Peace of Rome, Daniele & Livio's other B&B (my mistake after being tired from traveling). Anyway, once we arrived at the correct(!) B&B we couldn't have... More

My sons and I stayed at the A View of Rome Hotel for six days; everything from our arrival to our departure was excellent and we can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Daniel and his staff were always available and extremely helpful; they made breakfast and delicious coffee for us every day; gave us helpful tips and information regarding tourist... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
