We booked Esedra on Expedia's recommendation of a 4 star hotel. Esedra is not a 4 star hotel. I could write an incredibly long review but I'll keep it short. The reception remains unmanned most of the day and night with a contact Italian mobile number left. 5 floors up it is more like an apartment with only six rooms.... More

The hotel is located on the fifth floor near Piazza Republica, a relatively good location to explore Rome. For the local price level this was quite ok, although this still a lot of money compared to other cities worldwide. For this amount the A/C did not work well and the breakfast was on the 'light' side. The bad part however... More

This hotel isn't exactly near to Termini, about at 10-15 min walk. It's located in a large complex and rather complicated to enter- you have to buzz through 2 gates (pray hard there is someone at the reception to answer your call)- I had been stuck outside for 30 mins until a resident let me in. The hotel itself is... More

This hotel is locate in a very good position. 7 minutes from termini. 20 meters above it is a bus stop for Trastevere. 50m far from piazza republica metro station! 100 m down the severals bus stop to everywhere... About hotel: We are very satisfy because everything is about money. Esedra Inn is really VALUE 4 MONEY. Clean hotel, almost... More

We booked this hotel for a week through Expedia, having liked the pictures and value on the website, however the internet does not give an accurate picture of this hotel. This hotel can best be described as like an apartment, tucked away and with only about 6 rooms. When we arrived, we went through a big, heavy brown door (the... More

Booked a room at the guesthouse for one night on July 1. A bit tricky to find but got there in the eventually. First surprise was lights were out. Then, no hot water. Went out to have a meal and got back back three hours later. Still no electricity, no hot water. A knock on the door and we were... More

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. We loved the location, which was close to shops, eating, and the metro transportation. It is definitely centrally located and allowed us to easily visit all the places we wanted to in Rome. The customer service was perfect. We felt completely comfortable. The hotel employees were extremely accommodating and very open to our unique... More

I never really feel the need to write reviews for hotels, but this particular hotel I couldn't wait to! Finding the hotel is difficult, google maps does not help either as it places the hotel at the wrong building. The hotel is on the 5th floor and requires a key for the lift which is no use when you first... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this centrally located haven. The rooms are spacious and quiet and it is only 10min walk to everything. We even walked to the Vatican. Access to the hotel is fine once you realise everything in Rome is tucked away. Al organised a taxi at the airport for us and was really helpful with tips... More

I stayed at the Esedra Inn for 4 days in March with my mother and sister for a girly weekend away. The Inn is located on a busy main street, and set back through a large prison like door, a gated door and is then 5 floors up via a small gated elevator. Our taxi from the airport was pre... More
