The buildings in these area of Rome are two or tree square blocks of the usual we are familiar here in the USA. Big gates, and by the frame of the entrance there were listed at least 6 different hotels, so unique! We where located on the 5th floor with a tiny elevator capable to pulling 250 kilos at a... We stayed in this hotel on 22nd July 2015 and considering my experience, I didn't want to wait for even a day to write a review. I booked this hotel after reading all the tripadvisor reviews. The hotel is located centrally (5 mins from termini station), but it was very difficult to locate. It is on 5th floor of a... More

Esedra Inn is very centrally located just a 5-10 minutes walk form Termini station and easy to find. It is situated on the 5th floor on a block with several other hotels / b+b but the rooms are quiet despite being on a busy street. We arrived just before 2pm but nobody answered the door on the street, fortunately another... More

Best part about the hotel is the location. Safe and walking distance to all major attractions. We arrived late at night and had an employee meet us outside and tell us we would not be staying at the esedra inn, but at another hotel in the same building. When we asked why, he would not tell us, only kept saying... More

My partner & I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was brilliant. Everything about it is 10/10. When I first walked into the room I thought WOW! It was immaculate. Very spacious with a huge big comfy bed. Two televisions one of which you can watch while you have a Jacuzzi bath. The shower was also great... More

The best bit about our four night stay over christmas was the room maid, she was delightful. The room she kept clean but we were not given clean sheets over the five days and had to ask for clean towels. Breakfast was at a local restaurant around the corner which was not good. I kept being told though for £50... More

My wife and i stayed here recently. Lovely place not a hotel but an upmarket BnB. It was very nice. The staff were first class. We took some advice from previous reviews and emailed our time of arrival which was around 11 pm at night. After getting of at the main bus terminus we asked directions to the hotel and... More

Our holiday was booked for a group of 3. We arrived at the hotel expecting a triple room with 3 beds. Instead we were given a room with only 2 beds, to resolved the owner bought a spare bed into our room, which we later realised was broken. We also realised that the hot water did not work. The service... More

We arrived to buzz in to the hotel and didn't really hear what the lady said when we were buzzed in (turns out it was 'wait and I will come and get you in the lift.....') - so we tried the lift (which requires a key and fits two people at a time) and decided that we needed to climb... More

Location amazing, rooms very clean and quiet. Staff very nice and helpful. We had some problems in the beginning which were quickly resolved by the owner of the place. Place homey atmosphere and comfortable, the standards are very high but it is not a hotel. Unfortunately the breakfast was a bit poor.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
