This is the cheapest we could find in Rome for 3 nights as a couple. Next time I probably would pay extra for somewhere nicer. It's close to Termini and the Colleseum and easy to walk everywhere so you can't complain about the location. There is a place over the road where we got a takeaway pizza for €4 on... More

The hotel was ok, not the best ever, not the worst. The room was clean and tidy and secure. It is near the station and the coliseum but further away from everything else. There is just one shared bathroom so sometime you have to wait a while to use it. This is a good place to stay if you don't... More

Probably the worst place I have ever stayed. Found 3 fleas on my body while in bed and am covered in flea bites. The decoration is awful, like a toddler was let loose with the design. Pot pouri everywhere to mask the smell of smoke which combined is actually worse than just having a smokey smell. Paid for bed and... More

La Farfalla is located near Termini station, which is reachable by foot within 10 minutes. It also is located very near to the Santa Maria Maggiore, which is located on a square surrounded by lovely eateries and a nice ice cream parlor. The building in which the B&B is located, has an elevator. This way, traveling with big/heavy luggage will... More

When we booked we were told that air conditioning and wifi were included, however when we arrived we discovered there was no wifi and we had to pay an additional €10 a day to use the air con. Despite it being a non smoking flat the owner smoked and the flat smelt of smoke. We were also double booked on... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Great location as easy walk to Coloseum, Termini and metro stations. Great value for price. Gabriella was helpful. The rooms were basic but still comfortable enough although the room smelled musty and like stale cigarette smoke. I would recommend to a friend over a hostel experience if you need your own space.

This b&b is brilliant if just want a bed to crash on a night whilst at the centre of rome. The room comes in a descent size and gets cleaned every single day. The only downside about this place is that the bathroom/toilet has to be shared between 3 guest room but theres a hair dryer and a washing machine... More

The internet never works.. even after telling the reception the problem still exist. Towel with the smoke smell and never been changed. The door of the shower has broken and the hot water wouldn't supply constantly.. not a very enjoyable staying experience.

Pros: This is an excellent place if you know that you're not spending too much time in the room during your stay in Rome. The apartment is a 5 to 10 mins walk to the Coliseum. It's in between two metro stations (5 mins walk to any of them); or a 10 mins walk to Termini station, which is the... More
